Is Forex Trading Legal in India ? - Detailed Video

10:15
Is Forex Trading Legal or Illegal in India? Can I go to Jail for trading Forex in India? This video explains in detail what is the Confusion regarding Forex Trading in India, what is the Reserve Bank of India’s stance, and why it is so hell bent on Banning Forex Trading when there is so much more to do to the economy. This video also explains you the Liberalized Remittance Scheme of India, and how it is to be used and how it is not to be used for Leverage trading and Gambling. Do you know that under the LRS, the Liberalized remittance Scheme, any Indian can send 200,000 US dollars outside of India to invest in Equities, real estate and other things, without taking any permission from the RBI… but Liberalized Remittance Scheme is not supposed to be used for Margin Trading and Gambling. This video explains in detail, how there was Chaos in the post 2007 era of the India Shining, and how many Major International Forex brokers were doing great business in India under the nose of RBI and RBI didn’t do anything to stop them. Forex Trading was never illegal in India, there was and is restriction in trading few currency pairs, but INR pairs were always legal to trade. This video also gives you the good news about how now any ‘Indian can Trade Eurousd, GBPUSD and USDJPY pairs without breaking any FEMA or FERA laws and make money trading right here in India with a Sebi regulated broker. Following is the Economic Times Article : http://articles.economictimes.indiatimes.com/2015-12-10/news/68930415_1_currency-option-eur-inr-futures RBI allows three more cross currency pairs to be traded in derivatives market MUMBAI: Corporates and well-heeled investors will now have more leeway to hedge their offshore currency exposures as the Reserve Bank of India has allowed three more cross currency pairs, to be traded in the exchange traded derivatives market including futures and options. Currently four currency pairs are traded in futures market viz. rupee-dollar, rupee-pound, rupee-yen, and rupee-euro. Of which rupee-dollar was only allowed in options market in domestic stock exchanges like NSE and BSE. "It has been decided to permit the recognized stock exchanges to offer cross-currency futures contracts and exchange traded option contracts in the currency pairs of EUR-$(euro-dollar), GBP-$(pound-dollar) and USD-JPY (dollar-yen)," RBI said in a notification. " Recognised stock exchanges are also permitted to offer exchange traded currency option contracts in EUR-INR, GBP-INR and JPY-INR in addition to the existing USD-INR option contract, with immediate effect." Companies from information technology and manufacturing space are most likely to benefit from this addition as they have growing business associations in Europe, Japan, and UK, dealers said. With the new guidelines the currency kitty has expanded including new pairs, which in turn, will help increase participation in domestic stock exchanges. The central bank announced plans for such inclusion earlier in September monetary policy. Foreign investors too can take bet on these. Moreover, talks are going on to extend timing of futures and options trading to align with other global markets like Singapore, Hong Kong, Europe. ACCA F7 by Elshan Rahimoff. IAS 16 "Property, Plant and Equipment"

35:31
IAS 16 Property, Plant and Equipment outlines the accounting treatment for most types of property, plant and equipment. Property, plant and equipment is initially measured at its cost, subsequently measured either using a cost or revaluation model, and depreciated so that its depreciable amount is allocated on a systematic basis over its useful life. The objective of IAS 16 is to prescribe the accounting treatment for property, plant, and equipment. The principal issues are the recognition of assets, the determination of their carrying amounts, and the depreciation charges and impairment losses to be recognised in relation to them.

For a long time now, the team behind Ethereum had their sights set on building a platform that hosts many different dApps, or decentralized applications. That is essentially what these tokens on Ethereum’s blockchain represent. They are the units of value that give you the ability to partake in the application with which it is associated. If you want to move these tokens out of this Ethereum address, or wallet, you can import this wallet onto MyEtherWallet.com. I’ve conveniently put together a video that goes over all of this in detail, it’s called Storing ERC20 Tokens for Dummies, but I know you’re not a dummy, you know what ERC20 tokens are so that puts you way ahead of the game at this point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrwXThR7mUc If you’re ever curious if a coin is actually a coin, or if its an ERC20 token that is a part of Ethereum, all you have to do is visit ethplorer.io and type the name of the coin/token into the search bar. If it is recognised and you’re shown its statistics, you know that it is indeed an ERC20 token. Why the name ERC20? ERC stands for Ethereum Request for Comment. The number 20 refers to the request number. Let me break it down for you. There are a whole bunch of projects who have chosen to launch their tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. These tokens ultimately need to have some sort of common qualities, capabilities because they are all using the Ethereum Blockchain. If these tokens have a set protocol, it is easier for things like wallets and other platforms to support them. In order to establish which functions these tokens can have, there needs to be a standard by which they will abide. These standards are proposed by Ethereum developers and can be viewed on the Ethereum Github, since Ethereum is indeed an open source platform. Without a doubt, the most common of these proposed standards is the 20th Ethereum Request for comment. That is the tokens that have been designed with the ERC20 standard. However, this does not mean that this standard is perfect. In fact it actually has some issues that have led to the loss of over a million of dollars worth of tokens. Here’s the issue. These tokens work with the Ethereum Blockchain by utilising smart contracts. If you’ve ever participated in an ICO for an ERC20 token for example, you sent your Ethereum to a smart contract. Once the token sale was finished, you were allocated your tokens according to the agreement of that smart contract. Also, if that token sale failed to meet its minimum cap, you should have been refunded your investment. The thing with smart contracts is that they have their own specific addresses also, addresses like those for Ethereum wallets. These contract addresses were not designed to receive tokens. So if you were to accidentally send a token or a number of tokens to a contract address, those tokens would be withdrawn from your wallet and then lost in a sort of limbo, where no one can retrieve them. This is how millions of dollars worth of tokens have been lost. The Ethereum Requests for Comment did not stop at 20. In fact there are several hundreds. There are some which have been created that address this specific issue. ERC223 and ERC777 take different paths that aim to achieve the same solution. I’ll be providing links down below for those of you who wish to venture down this rabbit hole. But in the meantime it’s good to know that this problem is being addressed and many different solutions now exist. The trick is getting the popular applications and wallet platforms that interact with the Ethereum blockchain to begin implementing the needed changes to support these new protocols as well.

Vaultoro selected top 3 finalist out of 980 contenders in the BBVA Open Talent 2015 Europe

02:42
Vaultoro is the first true bitcoin / gold market place where thousands of people around the world all trade allocated gold and bitcoin. Vaultoro makes buying gold with bitcoin super easy with people being able to buy physical allocated gold bullion in 3 minutes after signing up! Vaultoro Q and A 1. How long did it take you to launch your business? What are some specific challenges you’ve encountered in mounting it? We started thinking about how to build the worlds most transparent exchange about a month after the MtGox fiasco blew up. We started doing market research to see if people wanted a real-time bitcoin gold exchange and started coding soon after that. All in all, it took us ten months to, raise an investment round, develop and get all legalities sorted before launching. “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” —Buckminster Fuller I used to go out and demonstrate a lot and beg governments to change things. As I got older, I realised that demos and petitions rarely change anything and only waste time. Bitcoin was a solution that didn’t require begging anyone for permission it could also never be stopped because it decentralised. For me to fall in love with Bitcoin took all of 30 seconds as the words in Satoshi’s white paper flooded my mind with possibilities and disruption. The love affair has only gotten stronger, even after five years. 3. What can you say is the best thing about your business in comparison with other crypto-related ventures? Can you share some definite advantages of operating it? Vaultoro.com was the first real-time bitcoin gold trading platform in the world. Enabling people around the globe to protect themselves from the bitcoin volatility without insta-selling to back to fiat. This is a major step for cryptocurrency, if we truly want to escape the grip of debt based centrally controlled currencies then we need to stop insta-selling back to debt based fiat. The other crucial thing that Vaultoro has shown the world is that the KYC laws are way more relaxed with gold because it is ‘a good’ and not officially recognised as money anymore. This is important for privacy as well as inclusion. Try getting KYC compliant documents from an unbanked street merchant in Sub-Saharan Africa, it’s not going to happen, and they are the types of people that could use bitcoin the most. Bitcoin has always been about inclusion and it feels good running a service like Vaultoro.com that empowers people like that to use bitcoin without the volatility. 4. What do you think Bitcoin needs to become a more prominent and reliable form of payment? What’s preventing it from going mainstream? Bitcoin needs safety, ease of use and a killer app. These things are all being built, and it is only a matter of time before they it happens. SAFTY: There are many cool advancements, for instance, we at Vaultoro are developing a new type of multi-sig hot wallet that will make it impossible to hack and drain the whole wallet even for insiders like employees or executives. I don’t want to give too much away just yet, but as soon as we release it, we hope it will become standard across all exchanges. EASE OF USE: We are finally heading away from Geekville, just look at co-pay wallet or trezor. It makes it so easy to use complex technologies like multisig or cold wallet signing. Every day more services come out that make bitcoin easier to use, lowering the barrier to entry and lifting the floodgate to mass adoption. Killer apps: One day we will wake up and someone will have released a killer app that everyone wants and will help spread bitcoin. Just like Space Invaders was the killer app for home gaming or VisiCalc (spreadsheets) where the killer app for the sale of the first personal computers. Silk Road was the first killer app for bitcoin but I think remittance, games with in-game currencies and decentralised markets will be the next. 5. What have been the greatest accomplishments or the best times you have had while operating your business since its inception? What characteristics of your business do you consider the most revolutionary? What blew my mind was when we went live with Vaultoro.com and started getting a lot of people from Greece exiting the euro banking system by securing their wealth in gold using bitcoin. We also had people in places like Botswana Africa purchased gold. For the first time in history, a normal person in a relatively poor country could hold their wealth no matter how small in top-tier investment grade audited and insured Swiss bullion vaults! This was always something that only high net worth elite of the world had access to! Not only that, for the first time in history the normal person can spend their gold instantly anywhere around the world where bitcoin is accepted!

IAS 21 The Effects of Changes in Foreign Exchange Rates

07:38
http://www.ifrsbox.com This is the short summary of IAS 21 The Effects of Changes in Foreign Exchange Rates. In today's world, the entities carry out their foreign activities in 2 ways: 1. They have some transactions in foreign currencies, or 2. They Have a foreign operation. An entity can also decide to present its financial statements in some foreign currency other than their own. The objective of IAS 21 is to prescribe • How to include foreign currency transactions and foreign operations in the financial statements of an entity; and • How to translate financial statements into a presentation currency. Functional currency is the currency of the primary economic environment in which the entity operates. It is the own entity's currency and all other currencies are "foreign currencies". The primary economic environment is normally the one in which the entity primarily generates and expends the cash, but more factors needed to be considered, such as the currency in which the sales prices are denominated, etc. Presentation currency is the currency in which the financial statements are presented. How to report transactions in FUNCTIONAL CURRENCY Initially, all foreign currency transactions shall be translated to functional currency by applying the spot exchange rate between the functional currency and the foreign currency at the date of the transaction. Subsequently, at the end of each reporting period, you should translate: • All monetary items in foreign currency using the closing rate; • All non-monetary items measured in terms of historical cost using the exchange rate at the date of transaction (historical rate); • All non-monetary items measured at fair value using the exchange rate at the date when the fair value was measured. All exchange rate differences shall be recognized in profit or loss with some exceptions. How to translate financial statements into a PRESENTATION CURRENCY When an entity's functional currency is NOT the currency of a hyperinflationary economy, then an entity should translate: • All assets and liabilities for each statement of financial position presented (including comparatives) using the closing rate at the date of that statement of financial position. • All income and expenses and other comprehensive income items (including comparatives) using the exchange rates at the date of transactions. All resulting exchange differences shall be recognized in other comprehensive income as a separate component of equity. How to Buy Jiocoin and Earn Money ?

03:42
Reliance has planned to launch Jiocoin or jio coin later this 2018 year. Let's know how it works and how can you earn money from it. Relaince Jio’s next big idea of disruption is cryptocurrency and what’s more, the company plans to create its own digital currency JioCoin, reports Mint. It is possible the move might have been triggered by the incredible rise in the value of Bitcoin over the past few weeks, where the cryptocurrency touched a high of around $17,000, before falling down to the $12,000-odd range recently. It has created a new breed of millionaires and it seems like Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance group does not want to miss out on the action. To mine the new digital currency, the company has chosen young Akash Ambani, the elder son of Mukesh to lead the project with a team of 50 professionals working under him to build the blockchain and create the stock of the currency. The blockchain technology, once developed, may be put to other uses, like supply chain logistics and so on. For the uninitiated, blockchain is basically a digital ledger which can store data, usually on the cloud and is a closed chain and as the links keep getting built, those building the chains get rewarded with the digital coins that can be traded or en-cashed by the owner. This is how all the digital currencies worldwide work and Bitcoin has been the most popular of them all. Reliance Jio is hoping to use the work by the new team to get into the IoT (Internet of Things) space. The technology has gained a lot of traction in recent times with devices like home speakers, smart watches and even the in-car infotainment in the automobile sector are all part of the IoT segment only. It is being projected that the blockchains developed could add a layer of security to the data exchanged among these IoT devices. The flip side of the cryptocurrency is that it is not an officially recognized instrument and is not backed by any assets whatsoever. Most governments do not recognize these digital currency, though there are transactions being carried online, particularly in the dark web, where these currencies are used to buy all kinds of stuff. There are exchanges which trade in these currencies and a few countries in Europe have permitted Bitcoin and a couple of other digital currencies to be sold to the public through the post offices paying for them in Euros. The Indian government has not yet recognised cryptocurrencies and the only step the Indian government has taken, as announced by the country’s Finance Minister in the Indian parliament is that the government has setup a committee to look into the various aspects of cryptocurrencies and submit a report. Even in a more developed economy like South Korea, where there is practically a craze among the common public to buy Bitcoins, the justice department is out to ban local cryptocurrency exchanges.

http://www.positivemoney.org/ Prof Victoria Chick, Emeritus Professor of Economics, University College London, addressed the question: "Why Don't Academics Understand Money?" at the Positive Money conference in January 2013. She said there has been a regression in the way economics has been taught. This 18 mins video gives some very interesting insights. They work to raise awareness of the connections between our current monetary and banking system and the serious social, economic and ecological problems that face the UK and the world today. In particular they focus on the role of banks in creating the nation's money supply through the accounting process they use when they make loans - an aspect of banking which is poorly understood. Positive Money believe these fundamental flaws are at the root of - or a major contributor to - problems of poverty, excessive debt, growing inequality and environmental degradation. JSE Explainer Video

03:51
Links from the video and transcript below: https://jsecoin.com https://platform.jsecoin.com https://jsecoin.com/whitelisting https://blockchain.jsecoin.com JSEcoin is a consumer focused web platform built on top of a browser mined blockchain. We looked at the excessive power usage of traditional cryptocurrencies and created a way to use surplus resources, inside existing web browsers, to power blockchain technology. Mining distribution is not limited to giant server farms but reaches anyone with a web browser and internet connection. The live JSEcoin platform includes a suite of tools for webmasters to integrate cryptocurrency with their websites. The publisher setup is easy, simply copy and paste a code snippet on to your site, or use the Wordpress or Joomla plugins our team has developed. An opt-in miner provides a new method for people to monetise their sites and a way whereby visitors who don’t want to see ads can still contribute to a website’s cost of content. Merchant tools enable ecommerce stores and membership sites to accept cryptocurrency payments and subscriptions with the long-term goal of building demand on exchanges. An affiliate program promotes organic growth and rewards users for referring their friends. The competition we face is from hidden, background Monero miners which are unethical and ineffective at competing with mining rigs. These miners often use excessive CPU power and deteriorate user experience. Because we operate our own blockchain JSEcoin can run an opt-in only system which on average uses less than 10% of a browsers resources. This has led to whitelisting approvals by major anti-virus companies, such as Kaspersky, Symantec and McAffee, providing peace of mind to publishers. This is the JSE platform, you can setup an account at platform.jsecoin.com The JSE blockchain is secured by two mining pools, the opt-in visitors to publishers websites and registered platform miners who log in and mine using a web browser or desktop app. Transfers are fast due to our 30 second block cycles and use elliptic curve cryptography signed within the web browser. The mining system is intuitive and you can leave it running via the platform or in the chromium desktop app while you work, study or browse the web. Rewards are placed directly in to the online wallet and are distributed via a lottery system ensuring there is no benefit to increasing the hashing power of a device beyond the default settings. The JSEcoin network is designed to use the least amount of power possible, ultimately setting the foundation for a cleaner, more sustainable digital economy. The opt-in notification is displayed millions of times a day across more than 10k publisher websites. This is before we have even listed on exchange, while the coin has no tradeable value. Post-ICO and exchange listing we expect volumes to soar, ensuring our brand is one of the most recognised in the blockchain sector. This puts us in a strong position to leverage our exposure to reach mainstream adoption. To fund further growth we are launching our ICO to raise the capital required to build a governing organisation and market the products to new users. If you are interested in joining us please get whitelisted as soon as possible at jsecoin.com/whitelisting

IAS 16 Property Plant and Equipment - Summary

05:52
IAS 16 Property Plant and Equipment - Summary IAS 16 Property, Plant and Equipment outlines the accounting treatment for most types of property, plant and equipment. Property, plant and equipment is initially measured at its cost, subsequently measured either using a cost or revaluation model, and depreciated so that its depreciable amount is allocated on a systematic basis over its useful life. IAS 16 Property, Plant and Equipment was reissued in December 2003 and applies to annual periods beginning on or after 1 January 2005. The objective of IAS 16 Property, Plant and Equipment is to prescribe the accounting treatment for property, plant, and equipment. The principal issues are the recognition of assets, the determination of their carrying amounts, and the depreciation charges and impairment losses to be recognised in relation to them. IAS 16 Property, Plant and Equipment applies to the accounting for property, plant and equipment, except where another standard requires or permits differing accounting treatments. The standard does apply to property, plant, and equipment used to develop or maintain the last three categories of assets. [IAS 16.3] The cost model in IAS 16 Property, Plant and Equipment also applies to investment property accounted for using the cost model under IAS 40 Investment Property. The standard does apply to bearer plants but it does not apply to the produce on bearer plants. Items of property, plant, and equipment should be recognised as assets when it is probable that: [IAS 16.7] it is probable that the future economic benefits associated with the asset will flow to the entity, and the cost of the asset can be measured reliably. This recognition principle is applied to all property, plant, and equipment costs at the time they are incurred. These costs include costs incurred initially to acquire or construct an item of property, plant and equipment and costs incurred subsequently to add to, replace part of, or service it. IAS 16 Property, Plant and Equipment does not prescribe the unit of measure for recognition – what constitutes an item of property, plant, and equipment. [IAS 16.9] Note, however, that if the cost model is used (see below) each part of an item of property, plant, and equipment with a cost that is significant in relation to the total cost of the item must be depreciated separately. [IAS 16.43] IAS 16 Property, Plant and Equipment recognises that parts of some items of property, plant, and equipment may require replacement at regular intervals. The carrying amount of an item of property, plant, and equipment will include the cost of replacing the part of such an item when that cost is incurred if the recognition criteria (future benefits and measurement reliability) are met. The carrying amount of those parts that are replaced is derecognised in accordance with the derecognition provisions of IAS 16.67-72. [IAS 16.13] Also, continued operation of an item of property, plant, and equipment (for example, an aircraft) may require regular major inspections for faults regardless of whether parts of the item are replaced. When each major inspection is performed, its cost is recognised in the carrying amount of the item of property, plant, and equipment as a replacement if the recognition criteria are satisfied. If necessary, the estimated cost of a future similar inspection may be used as an indication of what the cost of the existing inspection component was when the item was acquired or constructed. [IAS 16.14] An item of property, plant and equipment should initially be recorded at cost. [IAS 16.15] Cost includes all costs necessary to bring the asset to working condition for its intended use. This would include not only its original purchase price but also costs of site preparation, delivery and handling, installation, related professional fees for architects and engineers, and the estimated cost of dismantling and removing the asset and restoring the site (see IAS 37 Provisions, Contingent Liabilities and Contingent Assets). [IAS 16.16-17] If payment for an item of property, plant, and equipment is deferred, interest at a market rate must be recognised or imputed. [IAS 16.23] If an asset is acquired in exchange for another asset (whether similar or dissimilar in nature), the cost will be measured at the fair value unless (a) the exchange transaction lacks commercial substance or (b) the fair value of neither the asset received nor the asset given up is reliably measurable. If the acquired item is not measured at fair value, its cost is measured at the carrying amount of the asset given up. [IAS 16.24] Summary of the Standard: https://www.iasplus.com/en/standards/ias/ias16 Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IAS_16 Full Text: http://www.ucetni-portal.cz/stahnout/ias-16-en_844.pdf

ACTIS - XP INVESTIMENTOS - AX::55 Capital

04:48
www.AX55capital.com.br WWW.xpi.com.br A pioneer firm in the country of tomorrow Since 2003, Brazil's staggering rate of growth has seen 25 million people enter the middle class. Their purchasing power has led to a boom for consumer industries. But for those wanting to secure their prosperity, spending money today has given way to the desire to invest and safeguard tomorrow. Established in 2001, XP Investimentos (XP) has grown over the last ten years from a start-up to the country's largest independent retail brokerage with 100,000 customers and 220 branches in more than 100 Brazilian cities. Brazilians have traditionally invested in savings accounts and physical assets like real estate but XP's management team recognised early on in the company's development that what was stopping people from investing in equities was their lack of financial savvy. So they launched a range of training courses covering everything from investment basics to advanced portfolio management, giving people the know-how they need to participate in the world of investing and managing wealth. Education brings opportunity Today, XP is also the country's largest financial education provider. It has trained some 350,000 people and offers more than 350 seminars every month. And with many students going on to become loyal XP customers, its paid-for courses have enabled the company to grow organically at very low cost. In a market dominated by universal banks, who limit their offering to their own products, it has become a trusted brand and the platform of choice for independent financial advisors, with 1,200 professional investment brokers using its state-of- the-art technology platform and support service to manage their clients. The potential for growth remains impressive. Currently only 0.3% of Brazilians invest directly in equities. That is well below India (1.4%), China (3.1%) and tiny when compared with the developed markets (average 30%). But people's growing confidence in the prevailing macroeconomic outlook and the stability of the currency means Brazil's equity culture is picking up pace. Creating Brazil's largest financial shopping centre We invested in XP in 2010 to help the company to expand its network and further build the technology and product development capabilities that will grow its market share. The vision is to make XP Brazil's largest 'financial shopping centre' able to provide customers with access to stock exchanges, mutual funds, bonds, pensions, insurance, and a range of other financial products, all in one place. We have paired our financial capital with intellectual capital, introducing Mark Collier, a former senior executive of Charles Schwab, to XP's board to assist it as it grows.

Mike Hookem MEP – “The EU Are Ignoring the Realities of Brexit regarding Fishing”

01:54
UKIP fisheries spokesman, Mike Hookem MEP, has slammed the EU’s new Multi-Annual Plan for Fisheries in the North Sea, saying, “the EU is totally ignoring the realities of Brexit by excluding the UK as an independent actor.” Mr Hookem’s comments came after the fisheries deal – which controls fishing methods; fishing restrictions, and the management of fish stock levels in the UK’s North Sea waters – was agreed by MEPs in Strasbourg last week. However, Mr Hookem reacted angrily saying; “EU mandarins seem to be ignoring the fact the UK is leaving the bloc in less than ten months by not consulting the UK as an independent actor. Moreover, the British Government seems happy to roll-over and capitulate once more!” Mr Hookem continued; “this latest deal highlights just how determined the EU is to keep a stranglehold on Britain’s richly resourced seas post-Brexit! “While I accept that Britain is currently a member of this highly Anglophobic club - and must adhere to the EU’s ridiculous bureaucrat inspired vision for fishing until March 2019; following Brexit, we should be free to impose our own 200-mile exclusive economic zone; police our own waters; and set our own fishing rules. “However, based on the number of backroom deals; the continual pushing back of the date we will reclaim our waters, and the Government’s apparent unwillingness to challenge the EU on fishing; I’m doubtful we will ever get the opportunity to recover what is rightfully ours under international law. “To me, the British Government’s lack of action in demanding to be recognised as a third-party state in the multi-annual plan highlights its weakness, and its willingness to “sell-out” British fishers to the EU in return for other concessions.” “By allowing Brussel to ride roughshod over the UK’s coming independence makes a total mockery of Michael 'The Brexiteer' Gove and Theresa 'the Appeaser’s' claims that we will be free of the Common Fisheries Policy in March 2019.”

#KaratBank SPECIAL OFFER!!!!!! BEST ICO FOR 2018

01:10
KaratBank is creating a new Blockchain-based cryptocurrency based on the ancient legacy of gold. Whilst not readily used in trading today, gold has traditionally been viewed as a safe and secure investment. Combining this historical method with the most modern, cryptocurrency, may not seem like a likely partnership. However, a new company is doing just that. KaratBank claim that they take the advantages of gold trading and apply it to cryptocurrency. They highlight that gold is a trusted means of investment worldwide, is limited in quantity (which can push up value) and is also stable in price. By linking each of their KaratBank Coins (KBC) to a physical weight of deposited gold (in the form of CashGold – 24 carat gold embedded on a bank note), each token has a stable, trusted value. KaratBank Coins are based on the Ethereum Blockchain protocol allowing for use of smart contracts. The team describe the coins as ‘the foundation of a strategy to promote the development, infrastructure and distribution of a safer, more trustworthy payment means.’ KBC is linked to KaratPay, an online payment platform. Their whitepaper describes KaratBank’s end goal as ‘The KaratBank Coin is designed to be used as a generally accepted electronic payment means for all who consider gold as a traditional, true, secure and value-stable medium.’ There are many advantages to KBC listed: its links to reliable 24 carat gold prices; the ability to exchange for CashGold at any time; real-time exchanges from any location at any time; the ability to use other popular crypto such as Bitcoin to purchase KBC; free and borderless transfers; and the low service charges for using KaratBank. These advantages have not gone unnoticed, as KBC payments steadily become more and more accepted around the world for transactions. Reassuringly, KaratBank are in cooperation with Karatbars GmbH, (who already have an established community of nearly 500,000 users worldwide who have collectively invested $120 mln), meaning that the growing number of companies worldwide accepting Karatbars as payment will also do so with KaratBank Coin. The pre-ICO has already begun and will continue until March 21, with the main ICO beginning March 22 (1 KBC = $0.05). By April 18, the team aim to have KaratBank Coin listed on one major exchange. By 2020, they hope to have 2 percent market penetration, and market capitalisation at $500 mln. For a start, KaratBank CEO Harald Seiz has forty years of experience in financial consultancy. He is also founder and managing director of Karatbars International GmbH, bringing his extensive knowledge of the relationship between gold and cryptocurrencies to KaratBank. His expertise has been recognised by the Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade, who have awarded him a Senatorial Degree. The rest of the management team also have extensive management credentials from various financial companies across Germany, and the advisory staff boast experience from Karatbar operations in Dubai to the UK. The knowledgeable team and proven success record with Karatbars indicates an exciting time for this company, and possibly a revolutionary new way of currency investment by marrying traditional investment methods with new innovations. www.karatbank.io www.karatbars.com/?s=okbars

The Cayman Islands Stock Exchange (CSX) is a stock exchange based in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. It started operations in July 1997 and is fully owned by the Cayman Islands government. The CSX was recognised by the London Stock Exchange as an approved organisation in July 1999. Over 1,000 stocks, eurobonds, warrants and global depositary receipts are listed on the CSX. The Chairman of CSX is Anthony Travers, a former Senior Partner at the law firm Maples and Calder. The stock exchange is located at Elizabethan Square in downtown George Town. The exchange uses a fully electronic trading platform that was developed under a partnership with Bloomberg L.P. QROPS No More UK Taxation on UK Pensions for British Expatriates

01:42
http://www.qropsspecialists.com/qrops British expatriates can now avoid UK taxes with a transfer of any existing private pension schemes to a QROPS. Most importantly, you can pass on the entire lump sum to your spouse or named beneficiary upon death without having to pay tax on it. Avoid a 55% tax upon death and UK income taxes of up to 45% on any retirement benefits you take from your private pension schemes to an HMRC acknowledged Qualifying Recognized Overseas Pension Scheme (QROPS). You can also cut out currency fluctuations by transferring your UK pension to EUR or USD or you can keep it in GBP. Have freedom of choice of investing in most shares, funds, ETF's, gilt funds, bond funds or property funds on the exchanges of your choice. You can also collate your funds into one easily manageable place. UK State pension schemes cannot be transferred, but money purchase, private pension schemes and defined benefit or final salary schemes can be transferred. Please note that any final salary schemes would be giving up any guarantees and benefits accrued in the UK. On the other hand, the whole lot would go to whoever you please upon death and would avoid UK income taxes and other UK taxes going forward as well as allowing you to invest in both the currency of your choice as well as the investments of your choosing. QROPS are intended for people who are considering retiring offshore completely. If they returned to live in the UK, there would be income tax imposed on any benefits taken, but any taxes upon death would be reduced and could likely be minimal. Please find out more today, by clicking below. http://www.qropsspecialists.com/qrops

China and India need to talk, Navy to Navy, to prevent Indian Ocean Hostilities

05:52
Should China and India talk about confidence-building in the Indian Ocean? On the face of it, this shouldn’t be an issue. The Indian Ocean is not India’s ocean. And unlike the Line of Actual Control in the border areas between China and India in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, which has yet to be verified, the two countries have no maritime disputes in the Indian Ocean. But the waters in the Indian Ocean are getting warmer, in part because China’s full-fledged maritime Silk Road initiative has attracted India’s small neighbours (to whom India usually takes a “big brother” attitude) and in part because China has taken a strong foothold in the Indian Ocean with a military supply station in Djibouti. In 2014, Sri Lanka allowed a Chinese submarine to dock in Colombo, triggering fierce opposition from India. Then, in 2017, New Delhi was widely believed to have put pressure on Sri Lanka, a sovereign state, to reject a request from China to let a Chinese submarine dock in Colombo for resupply. Behind India’s angst is a fear that the Indian military might lose to the Chinese military on all fronts. Indian strategists traditionally believe that in a possible conflict, India may have a disadvantage along the China-India border, but certainly an advantage over China at sea in the Indian Ocean, given the geographic proximity to India. But such confidence is waning. According to the International Institute for Strategic Studies, China has built more naval surface ships and submarines since 2000 than India, Japan and South Korea combined. The only question is how soon a Chinese carrier strike group will come into India’s “backyard”. The rub is how China might possibly convince India that the Chinese military presence in India’s traditional sphere of influence is not necessarily to India’s detriment. This will take time, but is not impossible. China should make clear to India about her legitimate rights and interests in the Indian Ocean. As the largest trading nation in the world, China is rightfully concerned over the safety and security of the sea lanes, since 90 per cent of global trade is maritime trade. Besides, China has huge investment in South Asian countries, including India, and in the rim land of the Indian Ocean. In 2011 and 2015, Chinese warships helped evacuate Chinese nationals and foreigners from Libya and Yemen. There is no indication that an ever-stronger Chinese navy wants to challenge India’s navy in the Indian Ocean. Given China’s sensitivity to its own sovereignty and maritime rights and interests, China can be expected to pay equal regard to those of India. In fact, China and India have joined others in fighting against piracy in the Gulf of Aden and the Somali Basin since the end of 2008. And after the Indian Navy rescued the Chinese ship MV Full City when it came under attack by pirates in 2011, China expressed its thanks. Maybe the best way for China to mollify India is to raise the fact that China has never attempted to meddle in India’s relationship with countries in China’s “backyard” – Southeast Asia. Modi’s “Act East” policy has led to tremendous Indian trade, investment and ever-closer military exchanges with member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, including joint military drills in the South China Sea. Fifty-five per cent of India’s international trade goes through the South China Sea, and like any other maritime trade through the region, it doesn’t encounter any interference from China. Now that confidence-building measures have been introduced to ensure overall peace and tranquility in the border areas, it is time now for Beijing and New Delhi to think about such measures at sea. The chances of encounters between the Chinese and Indian naval vessels are on the rise, be it in the Indian Ocean or in the South China Sea, therefore mutually recognised rules are needed to reduce the chance of misperception and miscalculation and – in the event of an incident – to prevent it from escalating. One of the most useful instruments to avoid incidents is the Code for Unplanned Encounters at Sea. WRAP Arcelor shareholders reject Severstal deal, Mittal merger to go ahead

SOUNDBITE: (English) Mark Meyer, Arcelor shareholder: "I'm a little bit unhappy because I was more for Severstal. I like that guy (Severstal Chairman Alexei ) Mordashov. He is, as the President said, he has grown up in the shadow of the blast furnaces - and I'm the same - and that gives you a completely different outlook; not a financial outlook, but an industrial outlook." 14. SOUNDBITE: (french) Vox pop, Arcelor shareholder: "Nonetheless, I'm pretty happy that Mr Kinsch defended the Severstal dossier. I'm happy that they are saying that he (Kinsch) will continue a form of partnership with Severstal." 15. Wide shot Arcelor shareholders leaving the general meeting STORYLINE: Arcelor SA's shareholders voted down a merger with Russia's OAO Severstal on Friday, clearing away a major hurdle to Mittal Steel Company's bid to take over the company and form a steel giant with nearly 10 percent of global production. The Luxembourg-based steelmaker is now free of its binding agreement with Severstal and is recommending that shareholders back a 25.4 (b) billion euro (31.92 billion US Dollar) offer from Mittal that closes on July 13. Mittal said the vote marked an "important step in completing the merger," urging shareholders to tender their shares by the closing date. Arcelor yielded to Mittal's third offer on Sunday, ending a bitter five-month takeover battle and jilting Severstal. The long fight was worth it, Chairman Joseph Kinsch told shareholders at the meeting at Luxembourg's Luxexpo exhibition centre, because Mittal and the markets had finally recognised Arcelor's "true value." Shareholders holding just under 58 percent of Arcelor followed the company's recommendation to block the deal, but many also took the opportunity to criticise it for failing to keep them informed during its battle against Mittal Steel. The way the company designed the Severstal deal - to go through unless shareholders representing half of Arcelor's stock voted against it - created a stumbling block for Mittal. Announcing the result, Kinsch said 60.4 percent of shareholders were present at Friday's meeting, far above the usual 35 percent who attend. "The resolution at the general meeting is very clearly against the deal with Severstal. That was the decision taken by a majority of all shareholders of the company, meaning more than 50 percent of the total capital of the company," he told reporters after the vote. Arcelor's board said the Mittal deal was superior in value, governance and business strategy, and set a benchmark for the steel industry. Kinsch denied that the plan to merge with Severstal was merely a tactic to force Mittal Steel Chairman and CEO Lakshmi Mittal to raise his bid, but admitted that it was a catalyst. Lao NEWS on LNTV: China invites SE and SA journalists to forge a network.9/6/2014

VO China invites Southeast and South Asian journalists to forge a network to push forward its regional connectivity agenda INTRO: China has invited Southeast and South Asian journalists to forge a network to push forward its regional connectivity agenda. According to vice-director of the Kunming's information office, Media exchanges would give the connectivity idea "a new height STORY: Vice-director of the Kunming's information office, told a group of journalists from Southeast and South Asia currently on a visit on the Yunnan province invitation. He said they were building relations with media to 'highlight' the connectivity agenda. According to him, Beijing is currently promoting its national strategy of building "Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" that would connect the two regions. At least 45 journalists from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand are visiting the province, which is China's gateway to the Southeast and South Asian countries. The provincial government has undertaken similar exchanges at least thrice since 2011 with an aim to showcase Kunming, the spring city. Journalists witnessed the opening of the China-South Asia biggest expo on Friday and would be taken to its country sites and places of natural beauties in the next three days of stay. The vice-director said, "Kunming is one of the first in China to be recognised as 'the best tourist destinations' with over 80 tourists attractions and more than a dozen top national tourism routes. The city is connected to the China's coastal areas through Guizhou and Guangxi provinces to the east, to the north with mid-China, south with Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia, and west to Myanmar, India and Pakistan. Kunming is also the window for China to open up to the five regions of Southeast Asia, South Asia, West Asia, southern Europe and Africa. He encouraged network among the visiting journalists so that "connectivity continues". China's new set of reforms and opening-up policy unlocked an additional $ 500 billion of overseas Chinese investment potential and imports over of $ 10 trillion in the next five years, creating new and greater opportunities for South Asian countries. Its vice-premier Wang Yang on Friday at the opening of the China-South Asia expo said China was ready to transfer technology to South Asian countries. He said they would also cooperate in mega infrastructure projects that include energy, technology and road through build-operate-transfer, BOT or public-private-partnership. Yang said China was looking forward to zero tariff regime of 95 percent commodities traded with LDCs in South Asia. In his keynote remark at the opening ceremony, Lao Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat Lengsavad who also spoke at the opening of the expo, responded positively that, over the past decade, cooperation between China and Asean countries had produced satisfying trade outcomes. He said, Cooperating in trade, infrastructure and human resource development is recommendable for foreign investors as the Lao government is welcoming investment from China, Asean countries, and beyond the region

Jio coin explained!! how to mine jio coin!! -Desi bit coin!!

00:55
Even in a more developed economy like South Korea, where there is practically a craze among the common public to buy Bitcoins, the justice department is out to ban local cryptocurrency exchanges. subscribe technically charge

Big Architecture 2011

01:53
Big Architecture Conference 11: 'New Rules, New Responses' Friday May 13, 2011; Ljubljana, Slovenia Big Architecture conferences are special, and are set apart from other architectural conferences and events by a specific theme, a particular set of issues the conferences works to develop. BA themes are important as guides, they help focus the talks, frame specific design issues which are particularly timely and relevant; and create a kind of red line that's more clearly developed and more rewarding to follow. This year's theme is "New Rules, New Responses". The conference explores the relationship between changing demands and intelligent responses in architecture today; and considers how these changing relationships are shaping the architectures practiced today and in the future. Selected internationally-engaged offices from across the continent have been invited to address these issues through their exceptional work, and through a dynamic dialogue-process within the framework of "New Rules, New Responses". All of these offices demonstrate a certain touch, a particular intelligent discipline and sensitivity that comes through in their design solutions, regardless of scale, location or program. From the wooden-arched ceiling of the Danish CEBRA's Iglo Greve sports facility to the Belgian Robbrecht en Daem's Concert Hall in Bruges or the Spanish Ensemble office's inspiring installation at the last year's Venice Biennale -- all exemplify instances of best response-practice. Offices presenting at BA11: CEBRA a/s (DNK); estudio.entresitio (ESP); Ensamble Studio (ESP); Francisco Mangado (ESP); C.F. Møller (DNK); Robbrecht en Daem Architecten (BEL) 180˚ Stage: The Right Questions What Makes a Good House? Grace Fu: Singapore in good position to tap Vietnam's industries - 12Sep2013

HANOI: Singapore sees challenges and opportunities in moving forward the Strategic Partnership Agreement with Vietnam. These are in the areas of political, economic and people-to-people ties, said Ms Grace Fu, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs. Ms Fu, who is in Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's delegation to Vietnam, added that Singapore is in a good position to tap Vietnam's industries especially as Vietnam has links to other countries through its various free trade agreements. There have been many high-level exchanges between Singapore and Vietnam at the leaders' level. And Ms Fu said Singapore would like to keep up the momentum under the strategic partnership, an agreement that paves the way for new areas of economic cooperation including in the banking sector. She said: "They would like to seek our help in having a more robust regulatory framework. They recognise that's our strength. We are very happy to share whatever experiences we have. "That is a good starting point for us to help build a stronger banking system that would be important to the health of the Vietnamese economy." The minister notes that Vietnam has gone through a difficult period of time with its fiscal policies as well as its currency management. "They have recognised the problem. They want to arrest and rectify the problem and they are taking concrete steps to build a stronger governance structure," said Ms Fu. Singapore is Vietnam's second largest investor. As for trade, Singapore is Vietnam's seventh largest trading partner. Prime Minister Lee noted during his bilateral discussions with Vietnamese leaders that two-way trade has tripled over the past decade to almost US$12 billion last year. Another area of cooperation that is set to grow under the Singapore-Vietnam Strategic Partnership is people-to-people ties, through growth in the aviation and education sectors. Ms Fu said Vietnam is a very important country involved in the Singapore Cooperation Programme since it started in 1992. Close to 14,000 Vietnamese officials have received different forms of training under this programme. www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/singapore-in-good/811328.html

Achilleas Demetriades (begins) - Representing the Cypriot Defence. Grand Chamber hearing of the European Court of Human Rights of the Council of Europe 18th November 2009 - which awaits judgement - in the case of Demopoulos v. Turkey and 7 other cases. The applicants are all Cypriot nationals of Greek Cypriot origin. They 'claim' to be the owners of movable and immovable property located in the northern part of Cyprus, which has been occupied by the Turkish army since 1974. The illegally declared Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, condemned by UN resolutions and recognised by no country other than Turkey, has set up an 'Immovable Property Commission' and this hearing involves whether this is to be recognised as adequate or not. Cypriot refugees 'allege' that the Turkish authorities are preventing them from having access to this property and disposing of it as they wish.
