Special Needs Girl Bullied In School— Then High School Quarterback Asks Her One Simple Question
After Chy Johnson was bullied by her fellow students at Queen Creek High School because of her rare brain disorder, her mom did her best to stop her daughter’s torment. When the football team’s starting quarterback became involved in the situation, however, Chy’s life took a dramatic turn. Naturally, every student experiences high school differently. Some thrive in that environment; they may be popular with their peers, for instance, or enjoy the academic rigor of their classes. For other teens, however, high school can be miserable, as they may stick out from the crowd and so become targets for bullies. And Chy herself was different to many of the students at Queen Creek High School in Arizona. In particular, she had been born with a neurological disorder that had left her with a mental age of approximately eight. Even taking into account Chy’s condition, though, her mom Liz had urged the school to let her daughter get the best education she could. ►For more articles visit: http://scribol.com ►For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] ********************** ►Support our channel PATREON: https://goo.gl/HJbzyf Thanks To Our Patreons Salami L. 10 Of The Most Evil School Teachers Ever
top 10 horrible teachers who were bad to their students Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] Other Videos You Might Like 5 Dumb Parent Fights In Front of Children https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k94Lsh4Qc1M 10 Game Show Cheaters Caught On Camera! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9HinSG4thM Description: While everyone had that one teacher in school they couldn’t stand, they were just doing their jobs. Going to school five days a week can be difficult on both students and staff, but what if it were the teachers causing the headaches? While there are certainly good teachers, there are also bad teachers. Dishing out ridiculous punishments, verbally and physically abusing students and even sedating their snacks, these teachers are downright evil. Being in school can be tough enough on its own; bullies, homework, cafeteria food. But what if the teachers are the problem? While the majority of teachers are there to do their jobs and set good examples, there are always exceptions. Here are ten of the most evil teachers. When seven-year-old Ukailya Lofton, came in for picture day at Overton Elementary School in Chicago she didn’t expect her teacher to poke fun at her. The little girl had seen a new style in a magazine and asked her mother to attach Jolly Rancher candies to her hair for the picture. Her computer teacher apparently thought the look was ridiculously funny and asked the girl to pose for a photo, saying “my husband is not going to believe this.” She later posted the photo on Facebook, where her friends mocked the little girl. When Ukailya’s mother was made aware of the photo, she notified the school. The teacher apologized, but not to the little girl directly. In December 2015, at an elementary school in Stoneham, Massachusetts, twenty-six second grade students went home in tears. The substitute teacher, who was hired through a staffing service, apparently told the children that there was no Santa Claus. Days before winter break, the sub told the young children, “Santa Claus is just a character. There’s no such thing as Santa Claus and it’s your parents who buy all the presents for you.” When parents and other teachers found out what had happened, the sub was banned from the school. Welsh primary school teacher Elizabeth Davies had a very humiliating practice in her classroom. She would spray her Asian students with air freshener and have them wash their hands with pine disinfectant. Before spraying her young students, she would tell them they smelt of curry and that there was a “waft coming in from paradise.” More than fifty percent of the school’s pupils are of Bangladeshi descent. Davies would also spray them if they broke wind and make them stand on newspapers if they accidentally wet themselves. She was subsequently fired for her actions. Bullying in Schools - NoBullying.com
Bullying In Schools: What is Bullying? And What are The Many Types of Bullying in Schools? Bullying is defined as the repetitive intent to hurt or damage an individual or a group of people that have little power to help themselves. It is an epidemic with far-reaching consequences for the perpetrators and the victims alike. Bullies use name-calling, rumors, and sometimes physical attacks to damage their victim’s self-esteem. Understanding who bullies are and how and why they choose their victims may be the first step in halting these hurtful behaviors. What is bullying in schools? It seems like the answer would be obvious, but it’s really much more complex than most people realize. A lot of parents think that the signs of bullying are obvious. Their child comes home beaten up regularly, or with bruises and other signs of physical abuse. Maybe he’s constantly “losing” his lunch money or spending longer than usual doing his homework because he’s really doing it for someone else. These can be classic factors of what is bullying in schools, but they are the most cliche ones. They’re real and they do still happen to kids today. However, today’s bullying in schools can take many other forms that parents may not recognize. Bullying is not a new phenomenon. Children and teens have experienced it for decades. Many parents also consider it an essential rite of passage. However, recent numbers have made everyone, including educators, child psychologists, parents and pediatricians, sit up and take notice. One in seven children in American schools is either a bully or a victim. Anti Bullying Technique Part 8 of 10 "I'm The Best"
Go Here: http://www.lvshaolin.com | Do you need help bullyproofing your child? Unfortunately, teasing is often part of growing up and almost every child does experience it. In fact, we've all experienced being teased at least once in our lives. Sometimes the teasing isn't always as innocent as it seems. Words can cause pain. When teasing is done intentionally and repetitively to hurt the other person this becomes verbal bullying. Making threats, name-calling, or spreading hurtful rumors are just a few ways a child could be verbally bullied. If a child is being verbally bullied it is very important for the parents to become involved. The worst thing to do is deny and pretend that everything is alright. Help your child by being empathetic. Give your child the opportunity to talk and express their feelings to you. If your child has difficulty expressing their feelings reading a variety of articles or books on how to deal with being bullies. Teach your child different ways to respond to a bully. A bully will try to pinpoint and attack a victim's appearance. A child might be teased about his height being too tall or short, weight, wearing braces, or other things that the bully sees. Although, we are different in height, weight, and some of us do wear braces a bully will try to outcast a child and make them feel different and out of place. Teach your child to feel good about themselves. In this video, the children did an exercise which dealt with a bully attacking their physical appearance. They dealt with comments like being too short or tall, teased about their style of clothing (or lack of), or even their choice of hairstyle. Instead of being upset or hurt the children learned how to change a negative comment into a positive. Their goal was to not let the words of a bully affect them. The children were taught to take control of the situation and not react to the bully's comments. Causes of Bullying - NoBullying.com
Causes of Bullying: What makes a bully can be complex, and can include a number of factors. Some people even find themselves being occasional bullies without even realizing it. While there is no one reason that a person turns into a bully, there are come common factors in many cases. A common misconception is that bullies have low self-esteem. On the contrary, a study from UCLA found that most bullies have “almost ridiculously high self-esteem”. The same study showed that bullies are often popular in school, and their victims are often unpopular. This can make the pain of bullying even more brutal. However, both bullies and victims are simply playing roles, neither is a fixed personality quality. Bullies can learn to stop being bullies, and victims can also stop being victims. Why Bully?School is supposed to be a safe haven for children. They should never fear walking the halls or playing on the playground because someone is hell-bent on making their lives miserable. Even still, when kids go home, they should be able to leave the drama of the school day behind. Unfortunately this is not the case. With the rise in Internet use, more and more kids are logging into their social media accounts just to find someone from their school has posted humiliating things about them. How does bullying usually begin? Many parents of teenage bullies ask themselves how their offspring could be capable of such abusive behaviors. They always want to know if the parents, the teenager, society or biology are to blame. There are various underlying causes to a bully’s behavior, often rooted in the anxiety of being adolescent, but at other times this behavior can spring from a traumatic experience, pressure from friends, faulty parenting styles, or any intricate combination of these dynamics. Bullying is done in most cases to increase feeling of personal power of the person doing the bullying. The need for the reassurance for personal abilities that makes degrading someone else such an easy fix. In 2009, a study was conducted to explore rates and instances of bullying in schools. It revealed that around 15 to 25 percent of all students were shown to be victims of bullying, and 15 to 20 percent engaged in bullying others often (“Bullying statistics 2009,” n.d.).Bullying occurs when someone uses force and intimidation to manipulate someone else. It’s all about power, and it is seen a lot within younger age groups. eliminate bullying bullying cyber bullying
eliminate bullying bullying cyber bullying http://www.myantibullyingchannel.com http://www.facebook.com/myantibullyingpage Eliminate Bullying Cyber Bullying Cyberbullying Statistics: As social networking and online social interaction becomes more and more popular with sites like Facebook and Twitter, cyberbullying has become one of the most prevalent types of bullying that occurs between teens. About 80 percent of all high school students have encountered being bullied in some fashion online. These growing numbers are being attributed to youth violence including both homicide and suicide. While school shootings across the country are becoming more and more common, most teens that say they have considered becoming violent toward their peers, wish to do so because they want to get back at those who have bullied them online. About 35 percent of teens have been actually threatened online. About half of all teens admit they have said something mean or hurtful to another teen online. Most have done it more than once. Putting an End to Bullying: These numbers are too high, and parents and teachers need to do something to stop it. Teens also need to stand together and put an end to bullying. When teens see their peers being bullied, they need to report the incident or get help. If teens band together to address these issues, they really don't have to worry about being the target of a bully since most bullies really only attack those that are weaker than them. By standing together to prevent bullying in every school, the number of depressed and suicidal teens can drop along with those who fear for their life while attending school. Sources: naaas.org http://www.bullyingstatistics.org/content/cyber-bullying-statistics.html Cyber Bullying Statistics Cyber bullying statistics refers to Internet bullying. Cyber bullying is a form of teen violence that can do lasting harm to young people. Bullying statistics show that cyber bullying is a serious problem among teens. By being more aware of cyber bullying, teens and adults can help to fight it. Cyber bullying affects many adolescents and teens on a daily basis. Cyber bullying involves using technology, like cell phones and the Internet, to bully or harass another person. Cyber bullying can take many forms: • Sending mean messages or threats to a person's email account or cell phone • Spreading rumors online or through texts • Posting hurtful or threatening messages on social networking sites or web pages • Stealing a person's account information to break into their account and send damaging messages • Pretending to be someone else online to hurt another person • Taking unflattering pictures of a person and spreading them through cell phones or the Internet • Sexting, or circulating sexually suggestive pictures or messages about a person Cyber bullying can be very damaging to adolescents and teens. It can lead to anxiety, depression, and even suicide. Also, once things are circulated on the Internet, they may never disappear, resurfacing at later times to renew the pain of cyber bullying. Many cyber bullies think that bullying others online is funny. Cyber bullies may not realize the consequences for themselves of cyberbullying. The things teens post online now may reflect badly on them later when they apply for college or a job. Cyber bullies can lose their cell phone or online accounts for cyber bullying. Also, cyber bullies and their parents may face legal charges for cyber bullying, and if the cyber bullying was sexual in nature or involved sexting, the results can include being registered as a sex offender. Teens may think that if they use a fake name they won't get caught, but there are many ways to track some one who is cyber bullying. Despite the potential damage of cyber bullying, it is alarmingly common among adolescents and teens. According to Cyber bullying statistics from the i-SAFE foundation: • Over half of adolescents and teens have been bullied online, and about the same number have engaged in cyber bullying. • More than 1 in 3 young people have experienced cyberthreats online. • Over 25 percent of adolescents and teens have been bullied repeatedly through their cell phones or the Internet. • Well over half of young people do not tell their parents when cyber bullying occurs. bullying in schools anti bullying cyber bullying school bullying stop bullying what is bullying anti bullying programs cyber bullying facts bullying at school bullies stop bullying now bullying in school Please click the button and Subscribe to our Youtube Channel http://youtu.be/WWayRYFWTjM http://youtu.be/_ZRUf_kxsdA Look carefully at my video, How To Manage Stress. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeSJiNAIbxQ

Anti-Bullying, Stop Cyberbullying Program by UpGo | For Teens, Families & Schools
UpGo empowers today's youth with life skills! This video about online safety is from the UpGo Cyber Safety App. For the best internet safety videos for teens and pre-teens in middle school and high school, get the FREE UpGo Cyber Safety App in the Apple App Store here: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1262384928?mt=8 . This video is an introduction to the Anti-Bullying Program by UpGo. This stop-bullying program is unique. UpGo's approach is empowerment, meaning, rather than giving you an answer, UpGo shows you how to determine the answer. That's super important. For instance, it would be dangerous to say, "If you see bullying, do this." Because there's no one right answer. It depends on your situation, what's you're like, what the other person's like, where you are, the frequency, the severity, the intent, the harm, what's been tried before, and so on. In fact, it's a bit dangerous those websites or articles that say, "Here's how to stop bullying," and then their answer is superficial, for instance, a bullet list of things to try. Or their advice is glib -- beware of the simple answer to a complex problem, like, "Make the bully your friend." At UpGo, we take an empowerment approach: we give you knowledge, tools and techniques -- ways to think about your situation and come up with the course of action. And lot of situational examples. And guidance on what to do when things go not as expected. Which they too often do in life! More details on the UpGo Anti-Bullying program are below. Is bullying a breach of human rights?
Bullying is repeated, aggressive behaviour that is intended to hurt another person physically, mentally or emotionally. One in four Australian children will experience bullying at school. Bullying can also arise in an adult context, especially in situations of differential power, such as with a boss and an employee, or within families. There is no specific right not to be bullied, but bullying is still a breach of human rights. It contravenes children’s rights that are enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. For example, it affects a child’s right to be protected from all forms of physical and mental violence. Bullying can also have severe and detrimental impacts on a child’s physical and psychological wellbeing. In an adult context, bullying also affects the victim’s right to the highest ascertainable standard of health, as well as the right to security of the person.

Flipped Counseling Bully Awareness Presentation
Flipped Counseling is similar to the flipped classroom concept at it's core. As a school counselor I want to be able to reach every student, family, and a broader global community. Student's can watch the counseling topics at their leisure and so can parents and other educators. Classroom visits can now be more focused on the discussion of topics covered in the videos rather than presenting content. This video covers an important topic about what bullying is and is not in both schools and our local communities. Bullying What Can Parents Do?
Bullying - What Can Parents Do? Jerome Mackey http://www.BullyingEscapeArts.com Since all kids face bullying in one form or another, it is important for parents to address it and teach their children how to deal with it. Those who don’t run the risk that the intimidation their kids suffer during their childhood could affect them adversely for the rest of their lives. Between 1956 -1976, I operated one of our country’s most successful “self-defense” schools in New York City. Important publications wrote feature articles about my school including: Sports Illustrated, Readers Digest, Life Magazine. Look Magazine named me - “Mr. Judo” and New York Magazine called my school: “the General Motors of the industry”. During some of those years, more than 10,000 students a year attended my classes. But soon after I started teaching, I discovered an important truth that changed the way I thought and forever separated my school from all others. http://www.BullyingEscapeArts.com I realized that: To stop being a victim, children needed more than lessons in self-defense; they also needed to change the way they thought about themselves. And to achieve that, they would need a clearly articulated plan to: “change their self-image” Very few people understood the secrets that made my schools so successful. We taught our students how to walk without fear in “the world where they lived”. They needed to change their conscious images of “themselves”. They had to believe they could be winners. . .and we made them believe that by making them winners “over and over again” as they learned. And that is what I hope these videos will show you how to do for your children WHY DO BULLIES DO IT? The simple answer is: “because they can!!” The more complex answer is: That when children are abused at home, they spend a lot of time alone, tortured and terrified. When they get bigger, if they can’t confront their abusers, they sometimes look around for someone else upon whom they can vent their emotions. Bullies feel important by dominating those who can’t fight back. They only pick on easy targets so they are always on the lookout for someone who is insecure. A Two-Pronged Solution: Children cannot stay mentally strong if they are physically weak. So a complete solution must include training that is both physical and mental. Physically: help them master “Escape Arts”http://www.BullyingEscapeArts.com and mentally: strengthen their “Self-Image” Now This Is Important!! It will make a big difference in their lives and yours if you will do this one thing: Clearly define (in writing) your “Hopes, Dreams and Aspirations” for your children. Make A List and Write It Down. Aspiration #1: Our Thoughts Are Our Most Valuable Possession Children will move mountains if you help them establish a “mind-set” that learns what it can from bad experiences and moves on. Aspiration # 2: Help Them “Master Their Own Destiny”. Help them “claim their territory” (get a clear picture of what they believe in: What they stand for, what they stand against, and what they want out of life). If you do that, your dreams will become their dreams too and they will come to believe that they can have it all. Aspiration #3: Help Them Nurture “Their Invincible Power”. Help your children develop their “invisible” power”. (that invincible and indomitable spiritual strength that lives inside of each of us). Things I Have Found To Be True Most children can’t escape from simple locks, holds or chokes but they’re proud when they learn how: • Even kids who aren’t athletic, can succeed. • With success, their self-esteem skyrockets. • Even the weakest kids stand a little taller, walk a little straighter, and hold their heads a little higher. • And when their self-esteem goes up, bullies stop picking on them. THE GOOD NEWS IS: I can teach anyone how to escape from (most) bullies and I also know how to improve the way kids think about themselves. THE BETTER NEWS IS: I want to do something GREAT for you today. NOW THIS IS MY PLAN: If you’ll click the link below, I’ll show you six important escape arts, that you can teach your kids. Six TANGIBLE, ACTIONABLE, LIFE-SAVING SOLUTIONS that will protect them from specific threats that they could face on any given day. My “Quick Start” Course:“SIX QUICK NINJA TRICKS” if you act today, it can be yours absolutely FREE - and your children will learn six ways to protect themselves against bullies and predators TONIGHT. I wish you all only the best. To do so, just click the link NOW!! http://www.BullyingEscapeArts.com Copyright Jerome Mackey 2015, All Rights Reserved
