Top 10 of the most fit and strong young children in the world. Your next 2016 Mr Olympia competitors perhaps? Any fans of football can list of a host of athletes who possess considerable strength which is displayed week in and week out on TVs across the country. Those with a keen interest in strength are also likely familiar with body building competitions which see contestants build up their muscle mass and tone through extensive weight lifting. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno (aka the original Incredible Hulk) are probably two of the most legendary body builders who became icons of strength in the 1970s. This image was further enhanced through the 1980s as both took on acting roles which emphasized their size and strength. Away from the playing fields and competition grounds, television shows and films continue to give us a host of characters who are obviously strong. Actor Tom Hardy famously bulked up to increase his strength in real life and, more importantly, on screen when he portrayed Bane, the adversary of Batman in The Dark Knight Rises. Those who are addicted to Game of Thrones know who The Mountain is and probably know that the man who plays that character, Hafthor Bjornsson, is a record setting weight lifter in real life. While it’s a field dominated by men, the topic of strongest people is seeing an ever increasing contribution from women. Female body building is becoming ever more popular and the influx of female wrestlers in WWE has increased significantly over the last decade. Yes, ‘world’s strongest’ makes the vast majority of people think of adults, such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, when we try to picture what ‘strength’ looks like. Adults, however, aren’t the only ones getting attention when it comes to physical strength. Kids, from infants to early teenagers, have captured a few headlines over the years for displaying incredible muscle mass and strength. It’s generally rare to talk about children when discussing ‘World’s strongest’ because they are usually small, weak and a long way from being fully developed. Additionally, while most kids simply can’t or don’t want to turn themselves into mini-Hulks, most adults feel it is inappropriate for children to be doing heavy weightlifting while they are still developing. In any event, there are a small number of kids who have demonstrated exceptional strength and abilities – far beyond the other kids of their age range. The following video looks 10 of the strongest kids in the world. From genetic disorders to living in cultures or families that put a high value of body image and strength, these kids all demonstrate impressive physical strength. Ahead you’ll find infants and toddlers, 9 year olds and 14 year olds – all with strength and abilities greater than most adults. Closely resembling today’s adult world of strength-related competitions, the realm of strongest kids involves a considerable number of girls who show they can get just as strong as their male counterparts Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheRichest.org Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheRichest_Com Instagram: http://instagram.com/therichest Featuring: Yang Jinlong Maryana Naumova CJ Senter Richard Sandrak Jake Schellenschlager Naomi Kutin Liam Hoekstra Giuliano and Claudiu Stroe Varvara Akulova For more videos and articles visit: http://www.therichest.com/ TheRichest is the world's leading source of shocking and intriguing content surrounding celebrities, money, global events, society, pop culture, sports and much more. 10 Dangerous Dog Breeds for Families with Kids

08:48
What types of dogs are good for families with kids? Some of the dogs you see in movies or on the street seem to be cuteness itself. But after the first excitement of getting a dog abates, you may notice that your kid isn’t able to walk the dog on their own. Here are 10 dog breeds that aren't too kid-friendly. TIMESTAMPS: Akita Inu 0:40 Dalmatian 1:31 Russian Toy Dog 2:11 Doberman 2:50 Husky 3:33 Basenji 4:20 Alabai 5:17 Chihuahua 6:07 Pekingese 6:50 Corgi 7:25 Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - Adult Akita Inu dogs can be aggressive toward other animals, especially representatives of their own breed. As a result, they can suddenly attack other dogs, ignoring any size difference. - Dalmatians are big, extremely strong, and overactive. Even if your dog is socialized and used to children's attention, you should closely watch its interactions with kids. Don't leave them alone even for a minute. - The Russian Toy is a gentle and very loyal dog. But you should remember that it has a truly sensitive nature. If there are active kids in your family, this dog will be constantly stressed. - Dobermans are exceptionally good hunters with perfect obedience skills. But it’ll take a lot of training to make the dog remember that your kids are masters just as you are and that they need not only protection but also respect. - A Husky is a strong, big, playful dog and can express its emotions by jumping at a kid. This may hurt or scare a young child, so you’ll need to teach the dog to show its feelings in the proper way. - Basenjis are unstoppably curious and highly intelligent. As a result, they are prone to disobedience. - The Alabai looks like a fluffy white bear. This is an exceptionally strong and big dog. The dogs of this breed make perfect protectors, but, at the same time, they tend to dominate. - The Chihuahua is considered to be the smallest breed. These dogs are usually aware of their fragility, and that’s why they don't particularly trust children. A small kid can perceive this dog more like a toy than a living being. - The most prominent feature of any Pekingese is its self-centeredness. Most Pekingeses dislike children who make too much noise and try to touch or cuddle them. - Young Corgis can easily become aggressive after they have tested their boundaries and realized that they can get away with a lot. This is especially true for male dogs. Ever dreamed about living in a palace? Like Buckingham Palace, for example? Well, it’s a nice place, so why not? This ostentatious home is pretty old and huge, but the location is close to schools and shopping! And besides that, it’s got a lot of interesting secrets. When you learn about them you'll get a glimpse of what it's like to live there. Did you know, for example, that the Royal family can receive treatment without leaving the palace? Or that the River Tyburn flows under the south wing of the palace, revealing the fact that the building was set up on swampland? Or that the site where the royal residence is located now was once occupied by a monastery. And some believe that’s the reason why the place is haunted by the ghost of a monk who used to live in that monastery... But if you're a member of the Royal family, you can forget about all that hassle. All you have to do is go to the basement of Buckingham Palace because there's an ATM right there! - Chandeliers can be lowered to a manageable level simply by pressing a button on the remote control. - Imagine 30 football fields and you'll get the idea about the size of the Palace garden that stretches for 39 acres. - You probably already have the idea that Buckingham Palace isn't simply a building, but more like a mini-town, since the royalty can get pretty much any service there. - Some used to say that there's a secret tunnel that connects Buckingham Palace and London Tube. It's just a rumor, but the royal residence does have tunnels. - During the long history of Buckingham Palace, there were a few cases of ordinary people sneaking inside. - If you ever visit London and find yourself near the palace, you can find out in no time if the Queen is at home. When she's there, the Royal Standard flag is flown over her residence. - As you can guess, The Queen and all other members of the Royal family have a pretty packed-up schedule. That's why it's so important for them to know the right time in order not to be late. - Obviously, when you're the Queen, you just have to host a lot of events and functions. More than 50,000 guests visit Buckingham Palace every year. - If you doubt the Queen will invite you to one of her parties any time soon, you can always take a tour of Buckingham Palace. - In 1953, a helicopter landed in the palace garden for the first time, and since then, that spot served as a helicopter landing area without any special construction for many years. - When there's a Royal birth, they place an official announcement outside the main entrance of the Palace to let everybody know if it's a boy or a girl and the weight of the newborn as well. 29 CARDBOARD BOXES CRAFTS

14:38
Turn cardboard boxes into household items We see cardboard boxes as temporary containers; whether they are for shipping items or moving items into a different place. There are however a million things you can create using cardboard boxes that you probably didn't think of. So, if you have cardboard boxes laying around instead of chucking them in the bin, re-purpose them into something new. It can be anything from a decorative item to a fully functioning object. Are you looking for an awesome way to make your own cabinet and fill it with your makeup or skincare products? Here is how to do it. Take a large rectangular box and cut the two seal ends from the top and from the bottom. Then, take your favorite wrapping paper ( you can add one with cartoons, illustrations, patterns or even objects that you love) and wrap it around the cardboard box to make it look more presentable. Then using the same paper, wrap the two seal ends you cut off earlier and place them inside the box as shelves. Finally, lift the box and make it stand up, place your items inside and close the side seal ends as you would close your cupboard doors. Another amazing hack you can try is to make your own file boxes using one cardboard box. Take a rectangular cardboard box, seal it using glue, and, cut it diagonally while we demonstrate in the video. Then wrap it in some marble wrapping paper, or any paper you like and matches your office decor. Finally, let the two boxes you created to stand and place your notebooks or magazines inside. In addition to those, we show you an awesome way to make a shelving unit for your vanity. It is very simple. Take two square cardboard boxes and cut the top 4 seal ends off. Decorate them with the wrapping paper of your choice like we did with the other objects and using hot glue stack them on top of each other. You can make it as many units as you like. Then, take some decorative thread and stick on the top end of each box so that it looks like a mini curtain like we show you in the video. Finally, place your vanity items inside and there you have it. Your very own vanity shelving unit. Another little creation we have can be proven a money saver for your house. We show you how to turn cardboard boxes into beautiful storage baskets. First cut off the 4 seal ends from the top of each box. Then, take some rope and place it all the way around the box from the bottom going up as we demonstrate in the video. After that add your favorite color of pillowcase on the inside of the box and keep rolling the rope on top of the pillowcase to hold it in place. Finally, put your towels, magazines or toys inside and there you have it. An affordable storage box for your house than you can re-use as many times as you like. Watch our whole video to find amazing ways to turn a box into a stool, a towel dispenser, a jewelry box or even a piggy bank. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Timestamps: 0:07 - DIY bathroom cabinet 0:21 - DIY desk file holder 0:49 - How to re-use an iPhone box 1:29 - DIY piggy bank 2:16 - DIY vanity drawers 3:06 - DIY stool 3:39 - Awesome pencil holder 4:27 - DIY storage basket 5:06 - Awesome pencil case 6:07 - Closet organizer 6:59 - DIY jewelry box 8:46 - DIY shoe rack 10:16 - Awesome pyramid shoe rack 10:47 - Shoelaces hack 11:36 - DIY desk organizer 13:25 - DIY toilet paper dispenser ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com/ Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/5Minute.Crafts.Girly/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/5.min.crafts/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/5m_crafts Subscribe to 5-Minute MAGIC: http://bit.ly/2ldditZ 5-Minute Crafts KIDS: https://goo.gl/PEuLVt The Bright Side of Youtube: https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/ Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com/

How to Choose the Perfect Dog Breed Just for You

09:03
A complete guide to finding a dog to perfectly match your personality and lifestyle. With hundreds of dog breeds to choose from, which one would perfectly suit you and your needs? Dogs are the funniest, cutest and friendliest ever! They’re not called “man’s best friend” for nothing, right? But with hundreds of breeds to choose from, which one would perfectly suit your lifestyle and needs? Let's find out! But first, while you’re searching for your perfect canine companion, also keep an eye out for 3 Bright Side lightbulbs hidden throughout this video. Once you’ve found all of them, comment the time stamps down below! Good luck! Guard dogs 0:42 Family-friendly dogs 1:22 Athletic dogs 2:00 Lap dogs 2:34 Dogs for busy singles 3:06 Dogs for seniors 3:56 Dogs for an apartment 4:27 Dogs for multi-pet households 5:00 Dogs that do well in hot climates 5:36 Dogs that do well in cold climates 6:15 Hypoallergenic dogs 6:44 Dogs for a newbie 7:40 SUMMARY - If you're one of these people and you want your pooch to look after your home, you should probably consider a Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, or German Shepherd. - If you have a big family full of kids or just welcomed a newborn into this world, it can seem challenging to pick the perfect dog breed. But this is the territory where a Labrador or Golden Retriever would be completely unbeatable! - Consider getting a Pointer or a Setter since they’re pretty much built for running. If you want something a bit smaller, a Jack Russell Terrier can be a good choice as well. - If you’re looking for a furry cuddle buddy who will always be happy to laze around on the sofa with you, a French Bulldog or a Maltese is your perfect fit. - Some breeds deal with being home alone better than others: think about getting a Shar Pei or a Basset Hound. - If you’re retired and have decided to welcome a dog into your home, a good option for you would be a Boston Terrier, a Pug, or a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. - . If the dog is small, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’ll be happy living in smaller space. Consider getting a Yorkshire Terrier or a Bulldog for a small apartment. - Retrievers, Collies, and Spaniels are always happy to have company to play with, so they’ll likely make a great match with your other pets. Terriers or breeds typically used in dogfighting can sometimes be a bit complicated. - Most Terriers can take the heat, and they come in lots of sizes. At the same time, St. Bernards, Samoyeds, and Boxers won't feel good in hot weather. - Breeds that prefer a colder climate normally have a thick double coat and more body fat. So, as you can probably guess, a good choice is a St. Bernard, Malamute, Husky, or Samoyed. - German Shepherds aren't a good breed for you due to their dry skin, which results in a lot of dander built-up. The same goes for long-haired breeds as well. - Getting a dog for the first time ever is both exciting and nerve-racking. There are so many breeds to choose from, and they’re all so cute and adorable! If you’re new to the dog-owning world, then a Labrador, Border Collie, or Poodle will be perfect for you. 10 Biggest Sea Dinosaurs That Ever Existed on Earth

11:23
Whatever lives in the sea nowadays can't be compared with the huge monsters that dominated the depths millions of years ago. And by “monsters” we mean long-extinct marine reptiles and dinosaurs. Since many people are better acquainted with the land-roaming giants of the past, this video will open your eyes to those that ruled the waters! Did you know, for example, that pliosauruses were real giants, with the largest species weighing more than 30 tons and growing up to 40 feet long? Also, this animal had an incredibly strong bite. In fact, it was four times more powerful than that of the mighty T-rex! TIMESTAMPS: Pliosaurus 1:14 Kronosaurus 2:15 Nothosaurus 3:07 Styxosaurus 4:10 Albertonectes 5:15 Thalassomedon 6:16 Tylosaurus 7:23 Shonisaurus 8:07 Mosasaurus 9:00 Shastasaurus 9:53 #dinosaurs #prehistoricanimals #seacreatures Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - The largest Kronosaurus ever found was 34 feet long from snout to tail and likely weighed about 12 tons. This marine reptile’s teeth weren't really deadly; they were only a few inches long and not all that sharp. - . Some experts state that Nothosauruses could snap their long heads sideways to catch a passing fish, kinda like how a crocodile does. Surprisingly, researchers say that these reptiles shared a lot of similar features with the modern sea lion. - The Styxosaurus belonged to the Plesiosaur family and lived during the Late Cretaceous Period, around 85 to 70 million years ago. Styxosauruses were about 35 feet in length, but over 16 feet of that consisted just of their long snake-like neck! They had a comparatively small body and weighed approximately 4 tons. - The Albertonectes was another representative of the Plesiosaur family, meaning that this marine reptile had a small head on an incredibly long neck and large flipper-like limbs that helped it move through the water. These creatures occupied the seas around North America 76 to 70 million years ago. - Thalassomedon means “sea lord” in ancient Greek, and there's a pretty good reason behind this name. These representatives of the Plesiosaur family were huge predators that could reach 40 feet in length. That’s about as big as 4-story building! - The Tylosaurus belonged to the Mosasaur family. It dominated the shallow seas of North America about 85 to 80 million years ago. This was an enormous predator, with the biggest representatives reaching 45 feet in length. - The Shonisaurus lived on our planet during the Late Triassic Period, approximately 215 million years ago. The remains of this creature were first discovered in Nevada in 1920, not far from the Shoshone Mountains. This prehistoric reptile resembled a huge chubby dolphin. - The Mosasaurus is a truly gigantic predator that dominated the seas all over the world about 66 million years ago. According to fossil evidence, some specimens could be more than 50 feet in length. This fact makes the Mosasaurus the biggest marine carnivore of its time. - The Shastasaurus is the biggest marine reptile that has ever existed. These predators lived during the Late Triassic Period about 210 million years ago. 10 Crazy Things Ancient People Actually Did

09:54
10 strange facts about ancient people that will amaze you and make you say “WOW!” Have you ever heard about any of them? As technologies and new research methods develop, we are learning more and more about ancient people and their customs. However, the more we learn about their lives, the more this knowledge shocks us because some of the things our ancient predecessors did seem too bizarre even for the most open-minded person today. TIMESTAMPS Women used lead and sulfur to dye their hair 0:47 Glass balls and ground rubber were used as breast implants 1:53 Animal droppings were used for medical purposes 2:47 Doctors drilled holes in people’s heads to release evil spirits 3:52 Women were hired to cry at funerals 4:47 Fathers could legally kill their daughters’ lovers 5:20 In ancient Rome, fathers could sell their sons into slavery 6:03 Doctors used garlic to test for pregnancy 6:49 Ancient Egyptians shaved off their eyebrows to mourn their cats 7:45 There were public bathrooms in ancient Rome 8:44 SUMMARY - Ancient people used to use plant materials to dye their hair, but the effect didn’t last long, and as you know, there were much more important things to do than to care about your hair color. That’s why the Greeks and the Romans used a permanent hair dye that consisted of different toxic chemicals, including sulfur. - Some women put topical treatments or homemade creams on their bosoms to make them bigger. Others massaged coconut oil into their skin. But these methods aren’t all that radical. The first breast reconstructive surgery wasn’t performed until 1895 by Doctor Vincenz Czerny. - In ancient Egypt, warriors applied animal excrement to their wounds! If you think that’s crazy, check out our video about 14 Strange Ways of Life the Ancient Egyptians Practiced! - Doctors have always been fascinated with the human body and tried different methods to cure illnesses. Drilling holes, or “trepanation”, was one of them, and doctors used to believe that it could remedy such ailments as seizures, headaches, and infections. - In Ancient Rome, many families hired special women to weep at funerals in order to impress the crowd. They usually followed the procession, and to make their grief believable, the women would scratch at their cheeks to draw blood and rip out their hair. - Fathers had a very strong influence on the entire family and especially on their unmarried daughters. In fact, they had the right to choose a good husband for them. - The father was the head of the family and possessed absolute power over his wife and children. So, they also had the right to decide whether or not to keep newborn babies in the family. If they chose not to, they could sell their sons into slavery. If the person who bought the slave didn’t need him anymore, the sons could go back to their parent’s home. - The lack of detailed medical knowledge of anatomy didn’t allow doctors to say for sure why some women could get pregnant while others couldn’t. Because of this, they tried different natural ways to test for pregnancy. - Ancient Egyptian families mourned the death of a family cat by shaving off their eyebrows. The cat’s body was embalmed and adorned with a wood-carved mask. Then the tiny cat mummy was placed in a family tomb or in a cat cemetery. - People in ancient Rome used all possible means to take care of their personal hygiene. They regularly visited public baths and toilets and used cleansers and bath sponges. Which of these things amazed you the most? Tell us in the comments section below! Why My Family's Cost of Living is Cheaper in Tokyo

7 days left to back the documentary! https://igg.me/at/lwif-being-japanese-documentary/x Here's the thing. I moved from Vancouver, Canada, to Tokyo, Japan. In Canada, I used to make more money, yet my quality of life is somehow better across the Pacific ocean. This is largely in part due to the cost of living being cheaper for my family. How could this be, in one of the most expensive cities in the world? I’ve made a playlist of all the videos I’ve made that illustrate the quality of life that I talked about in this video https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwBDd34gIIWm7pg8ZdqHPjfXxjxE1Z75q Information Sources - Most expensive cities in the world https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-03-15/singapore-still-world-s-costliest-city-paris-a-close-second - Tokyo no longer in the top 10 most expensive cities https://www.ft.com/content/505424e6-1455-11e5-9bc5-00144feabdc0 - Tokyo most expensive city https://soranews24.com/2016/12/22/tokyo-ranked-as-most-expensive-city-in-the-world-for-expats-three-other-japanese-towns-in-top-10/ - Average home by size of country https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-03-15/singapore-still-world-s-costliest-city-paris-a-close-second - Zoning in Japan http://urbankchoze.blogspot.com/2014/04/japanese-zoning.html - Japan’s love affair with the automobile stalls https://www.ft.com/content/6951ec5e-a1d8-11e7-8d56-98a09be71849 - City of Edogawa childcare costs http://www.city.edogawa.tokyo.jp/kosodate/kosodate/hoiku/nitijou/hoikuen/aa08002020171006114117928.html - City of Edogawa childcare rate sheet http://www.city.edogawa.tokyo.jp/kosodate/kosodate/hoiku/nitijou/hoikuen/aa08002020171006114117928.files/hoikuryou.pdf - Edogawa childcare points system https://bestlivingjapan.com/navigating-japanese-hoikuen-system/ - National Health Insurance https://yosida.com/forms/nationalins.pdf - City of Edogawa NHI 2018 http://www.city.edogawa.tokyo.jp/foreign/index.files/2018_e.pdf - National Health Insurance Japan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Health_Insurance_(Japan) - Free Daycare Program in Japan https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2017/12/08/business/abes-free-day-care-pledge-may-appealing-solution-wrong-problem/#.W0XD19IzYuU Images Sources - New York Skyline by user:AngMoKio - Own work (Original text: selfmade photo), CC BY-SA 2.5, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=2802416 - Bread basket By Daniel Sone (Photographer) - This image was released by the National Cancer Institute, an agency part of the National Institutes of Health, with the ID 8374 (image) (next)., Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=24034743 - U.S. Dollar Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=196446 - Yodobashi Camera Akihabara By MiNe - https://www.flickr.com/photos/sfmine79/16474357009, CC BY 2.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=46901296 - Flag of the United States By Dbenbenn, Zscout370, Jacobolus, Indolences, Technion. - SVG implementation of U. Abnormally Large Animals That Are Actually Real

05:01
Huge animals that you won't believe are actually real life living creatures. Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg. Check out the new video form our friends at Hybrid Librarian: '10 MYTHICAL Creatures That Turned Out To Be REAL': https://youtu.be/xylbc68z_Fs For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] These animals are the subject of myths and legends. For thousands of years, writers and philosophers have immortalized these animals in the history books. The existence of these animals have always been speculated, but thanks to the internet and the concept of going viral, people can confirm these animals are real. Even with exposure to the Internet, people will speculate that the photos have been edited or that the videos have been enhanced with CGI. Of course verifying the existence of these animals can be solved with a simple visit or researching the local newspaper archives. In this video are some of the most abnormally large animals that have been verified to be real. Cryptozoology has often informed us of animals that we cannot verify as being actually real, but mainstream news has at least made the following animals real and available to us all. First, we have Zeus, who was known as the tallest dog. Dogs can grow to fairly large sizes, but this particular dog literally stands above all of the rest. Zeus was a Great Dane who weighed about 155 pounds and stood about 44 inches tall. On an average day, Zeus would eat about 12 cups of food per day. Unfortunately, he didn’t live to see his 6th birthday, and his life span was much shorter than the average Great Dane. Next, we have the tallest bunny, whose name is Darius. Per month, Darius can eat through 360 carrots, 30 apples, and 15 cabbages. He is about 6 years old and holds the record for being the tallest rabbit known to exist. Darius weighs about 50 pounds and is about four feet and four inches long. Having a rabbit like Darius can also be pretty costly since his owners are spending well over 2,000 pounds per year to keep the rabbit fed. Your average house cat can also be a contender as one of the largest animals. Ludo is a Maine Coon housecat, who weighs about 24.5 pounds and is 45 inches long. You can bet that Ludo’s owners, the Gill family, probably doesn’t share the bed with their large feline. The craziest part about this is that Ludo is only 17 months old and hasn’t stopped growing yet. Big Jake currently holds the record as the tallest horse. He weighs over 2600 pounds and stands at over 210 centimeters tall. Big Jake can also eat through one and a half bales of hay and 40 quarts of oats each day. This horse has good company with Blosom being the tallest cow at 13 years old. She is six feet four inches tall and weighs about 2000 pounds. Blosom’s owner realized something was special about her when she failed to produce a calf. Her size actually ended up saving her from the slaughterhouse, and she is the current greeter at the farm she lives on. There are many more large animals where this comes from. These animals are real to the touch, and we can imagine that a brand new slew of legends and myths will be written with these giants of the animal kingdom in mind. Urban Farms

06:39
Watch and read more here about Urban Farms: http://bit.ly/1KR4fFs Growing one's own food in urban areas can seem like a far-fetched idea. But not for one Pasadena family. The Dervaes family has been growing their own food for more than a decade. They've been at the forefront of urban homesteading by growing thousands of pounds of food annually in an average-size backyard. "I brought the country to the city rather than having to go out to the country," said Jules Dervaes, the man behind the self-sufficient farm he created with his three adult children. The Dervaes' urban homestead is sustainable and dense. They grow and raise 400 varieties of vegetables, fruits, and edible flowers that amount to about 6,000 pounds of food a year, enough to feed the family with surplus left over to sell. Fresh eggs from chickens round out their diet. The family-owned city farm is the talk of the town for many local chefs looking to cook up a tasty meal. The family makes roughly $20,000 just from selling their freshly grown produce. They use the money to buy staples that they can't grow like wheat, rice, and oats. Reporter Val Zavala visits the Dervaes' homestead to find out what inspired Jules Dervaes to go green in the extreme. 23 AWESOME DIY T-SHIRT DECOR IDEAS

10:30
AMAZING T-SHIRT DESIGNS This video is full of genius ideas on what to do with old and boring t-shirts. You will learn how to dye a boring t-shirt at home. Tie dye t-shirt is a trending print this summer. These t-shirts might cost a lot but you can create this print by your hands using food coloring. Watch this video and learn how to create a spiral print. Place your t-shirt on a flat surface and pinch the fabric at the center and twist to make a spiral shape. You can use a fork to get the spiral shape. Bind spiral with 3 rubbers as we show in our tutorial. Your t-shirt will be divided into 6 parts like a cake. Cover the t-shirt with bleach and wait a bit. Write Research Articles in LaTex (Changing Font Styles): Beginners Tutorial

06:10
In the third part of this tutorial I am teaching about text formatting i.e. Font size, families and shapes etc. LaTeX – A document preparation system. LaTeX is a high-quality typesetting system; it includes features designed for the production of technical and scientific documentation. LaTeX is the de facto standard for the communication and publication of scientific documents. LaTeX is available as free software. When writing, the writer uses plain text as opposed to the formatted text found in WYSIWYG word processors like Microsoft Word, LibreOffice Writer and Apple Pages. The writer uses markup tagging conventions to define the general structure of a document (such as article, book, and letter), to stylise text throughout a document (such as bold and italics), and to add citations and cross-references. A TeX distribution such as TeX Live or MikTeX is used to produce an output file (such as PDF or DVI) suitable for printing or digital distribution (Wikipedia). Learn latex in easy step by step tutorial in simple English. You just need to follow the tutorial. Sorry for my weak English. Don't forget to subscribe after watching.

10 Kids Who Were Raised By Wild Animals

12:54
10 Real Kids Who Were Raised In The AMAZON JUNGLE Subscribe to our channel: ► http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Richest ◄ Have you ever been to a restaurant or just out in public and you get disrupted by loud and hyper kids? Yup, children can get pretty wild and make quite a scene. However, what about when children get really wild? We mean this in the literal sense and have 10 examples of children who were raised in the wild by animals. We’ll start you off with Natasha, a girl who was actually raised by feral cats and dogs after her parents neglected her. Then there’s Bello, a character who is seemingly straight from a Disney movie thanks to the fact he was raised by chimps. We’ll travel to India to tell you about a boy who was actually living with wolves. Not too far from there, lives a woman in Cambodia who appeared from the jungle one day after living a feral life for several years. If you like cats then be sure to stick around for the story of the little boy who was actually raised by a pack of feral street cats. No discussion of kids raised by wild animals would be complete without mentioning Marina Chapman. Allegedly kidnapped, her strange story involves monkeys in the jungle and a happy ending. In Siberia, a boy named Andrei was abandoned by his parents. Incredibly, he survived the harsh environment thanks to man’s best friend. In the Andes Mountains in South America, we’ll tell you about a boy known only as Daniel who survived thanks to wild goats. Speaking of mountains, there’s also the incredible story of Marcos who basically lived with wolves and, from what we can gather, experienced a Disney-like story over several years. Finally, there’s the story of a Ugandan man named John who fled into the jungle as a boy and was “discovered” years later living with a troop of monkeys. 10 Celebs who has gained and lost A LOT of weight. Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg The entertainment business can be a cruel world sometimes. Hollywood has an expectation when it comes to appearances. Who do we blame for that? Big wig executives, or us as a society? If a woman is bigger than a size two, then she is ridiculed and called fat, ugly, and so on. If a man has anything but washboard abs and solid pecs, then he gets called names as well. Because we idolize skinny and built Hollywood celebrities, we reflect our own insecurities onto others. So, when you’re a celebrity who is bigger, it seems that you’re putting yourself in a spot to be ridiculed and mocked. Granted, these celebrities managed to create their own success from their size. Yet, eventually many overweight celebrities go on a journey to lose weight. The result? They end up looking completely different from what they were before. There’s lots of benefits to dropping weight, including better health...so these celebs are reaping all sorts of rewards! 10 Smallest Countries You Never Knew Existed

08:40
There are more than 200 countries in the world, and we’re sure you’ve heard of each of them at least once. However, there are territories we never knew existed. They occupy a super small area, and some of them are inhabited by just a couple of families. For example, one of the smallest countries in the world is a micronation founded by Kevin Baugh, located in Nevada, USA. Its population consists of Mr. Baugh himself, his family, three dogs, one cat, and one rabbit. Molossia has its own national anthem, national emblem, and the national flag. They even have the death penalty for particularly serious crimes. It issues its own passports and even has a space program. In May 2017, the Republic turned 40 years old. 13 COOL SLIME AND JELLY DIYs

10:18
SLIME AND JELLY Let's dedicate this video to the King of satisfying hacks - the great and powerful Slime! : ) How to Make Butter Slime 1. Pour 8 ounces of your white glue in a bowl. Tip: I like to buy the large gallon-size of Elmer’s Glue since it’s the most economical. It’s easy to pour and measure out your glue with measuring cups and you can use it to make lots of batches of slime! 2. Mix your baking soda in. 3. Add you water and mix thoroughly. 4. Add the baby oil and lotion and mix. 5. Add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution and mix. 6. Pour the slime out on the table as it will be very sticky still. This is what you want since when you add your clay it will take the stickiness away. Add a little amount of clay and fold over your slime and knead it into the slime. Keep kneading until your slime is colored and the clay is thoroughly mixed. 7. The more you knead the less sticky it should be until it feels like regular slime. You can now stretch and fold a few times and create your own swirl! I hope you love this butter slime recipe as much as I do! You can also substitute the clay and add some cornstarch in for a similar consistency. We would recommend about 2-4 tablespoons of cornstarch. How to Make Glow in the Dark Slime 1. Get a bowl to mix your slime ingredients in. 2. Empty your bottle of glow in the dark glue into the bowl. Try to squeeze out as much as you can from the bottle and let it drip out. Since it’s only 5 ounces if you do not pour out everything you’ll be left with a small batch of slime. We recommend doubling this recipe and using 2 bottles if you want a larger batch of slime. Tip: Pour water that is called for in the recipe into the bottle and shake it. Then pour into your bowl to help get some of the extra glue out of the bottle. 3. Add your 1/4 tablespoon of baking soda and 2 tablespoons of water and mix thoroughly until the water is mixed in with the glue. If you want a stretchier slime you can add more water (up to 1/4 cup total). 4. Slowly add in your contact lens solution. Add in 1/2 tablespoon to start and then another 1/2 tablespoon. Add it in slowly and only as much as needed. Adding too much contact lens solution can make your slime hard and less stretchy. Once you’ve mixed in the tablespoon take the slime out and start to knead it. It will be very sticky at this point and that is normal. Just keep kneading the glow in the dark slime until it is not sticky anymore. If you still find it very sticky, add a little bit of baby oil or lotion to your hands. Reminder: your contact lens solution should contain boric acid or your slime will not form. We like this brand the best. See also our tips on How to Make Slime with Contact Solution. 5. Now you’ll need to “charge” your slime in light before it will glow in the dark. We recommend putting it in daylight if you can as the sun will be brighter than indoor lighting. If you have a bright indoor light that will work too. Make sure to spread the slime out flat when charging as it needs to be exposed to light on all areas for it glow. This slime will last at least a week if stored in an air tight container or bag. We have found it usually will last longer. Just don’t let it sit out when not in use. We prefer to store our slime in a Ziploc bag since it is easy to press out all of the air from the bag. We hope you have fun playing with this glow in the dark slime! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/5min.crafts/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/5.min.crafts/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/5m_crafts Subscribe to 5-Minute MAGIC: http://bit.ly/2ldditZ Subscribe to 5-Minute Crafts GIRLY: https://goo.gl/fWbJqz Subscribe 5-Minute Crafts KIDS: https://goo.gl/PEuLVt The Bright Side of Youtube: https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/

Critique of Simplistic News Coverage of a Family Drama

10:13
I made this video in response to a report done by The Young Turks "Woman Learns Parents Are White Supremacist Trump Trolls Online" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UakoicdC-Lg). My objection was to the way the hosts speculated about the woman's relationship to her parents, applying a "one size fits all" perspective to a relationship history they had no information about, and in effect casting some blame on the daughter in the story for not making more effort, earlier on, to "reach" her parents and change their racist ways, or at least they way they expressed them. I felt the need to upload this response because the Young Turks' treatment of this news story represents much of what's wrong in this culture: making assumptions about the nature of families as if everyone's family is the same, as if all parents are intelligent, functional, well-intentioned, and truly interested in working out their differences with their children. The question of whether the daughter could be the child of abusive parents was never raised. If it had been, it could have shone her response to her parents' behaviour in a different, less judgmental light. Since no facts are given in the report about their relationship history, this would be speculation as well, but since the Young Turks take the liberty to speculate on that relationship and arrive at a judgment about the daughter's behaviour, I'm taking the liberty to speculate from the perspective of a child of abusive parents, and offer up an alternative conclusion. The point is that the lack of perspective about the nature of families, and the failure to recognise the prevalence of abusive parenting, perpetuates a false and damaging narrative that must be challenged for the good of all.
A Physicist Has Explained Why We've Never Seen Aliens

10:26
Recently, astronomers were able to map about 1 billion stars around us. Sounds impressive, but that’s less than 1% of the total stars in the Milky Way. So it’s statistically impossible for us to be the first intelligent species in the galaxy! But if there absolutely should be developed civilizations in the Universe, then where is everybody? We’ve been looking for about 70 years for any sign of extraterrestrial life, or any communication from little green men or whatever they are. And we still have absolutely nothing to show for it. How is this possible? That exact question was once asked by famous Italian physicist Enrico Fermi, the creator of the first ever nuclear reactor. The first group is all about two big ideas: The Rare Earth Hypothesis and the idea of the Great Filter. - Can you imagine, how much would have to fall into place for an advanced civilization to rise to our level? Let’s just say we hit a jackpot in all categories. - Jupiter is hugely beneficial to us. Its mass attracts all the space debris, meteors and comets like a giant vacuum cleaner. If not for it, the Earth would be bombarded with giant space rocks all the time. - The size of our planet and its speed of rotation make an optimal day and night cycle. Our planet has lots of chemical elements, crucial for the development of life. - Eventually, it’ll have beings that look at the skies from time to time and think that they probably aren’t alone in the Universe. - But these intelligent folks still won’t be the ultimate winners of this universal lottery. They still must develop technology to go into space and send signals. - Another solution is far more optimistic. Aliens are out there, but we just can’t communicate properly with them. - What if they went through a significantly different route in technology; one that’s not even comprehensible for us. What if they did so because their own communication is different than ours? - The next solution is far more possible. In basic terms, it proposes that we aren’t alone, but we are the first to advance our civilization to the needed level of technology. - There’s also a funny argument that aliens are so unlike humans in their way of thinking that they simply don’t want to communicate with anyone else. - And finally, the solution all fans of UFOs want to believe in – they really are common in the galaxy, but they can hide from us and maybe they’re already around us. Why Japanese Are So Thin According to Science

09:37
Why are Japanese people so thin? What do people eat in Japan? While the rest of the world is seeing anywhere from 15 to over 30% of its population severely overweight, Japan has managed to keep that number at just 3.6%. When it comes to health tips, it's better to turn to the country with the longest life expectancy and one of the lowest obesity rates on the planet. If you’re ready to find out how the Japanese manage to stay so effortlessly thin, keep our new video! In Japan, they usually stick to 3 wholesome meals a day that don’t leave them hungry or dealing with sudden cravings. Those who do snack keep it in small quantities and with a lot of moderation. Also, the secret to Japan’s success begins with their diet, which is pretty carb-heavy and low in saturated fats. Their main dishes of choice include vegetables, grains, fish, and meat. Dairy products and fruits are consumed in moderation. They tend to stay away from foods with excessive amounts of salt and sugar, like burgers and soda. TIMESTAMPS: Diet 0:50 No snacking 1:39 Fast food 2:02 Eating on time 2:58 Exercise for kids 3:44 Portion sizes 4:27 A great public transportation system 5:20 Tea time 6:15 Dinnerware 7:25 Food as an experience 8:09 #japan #japanesediet #japanesefood Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - The secret to Japan’s success begins with their diet, which is pretty carb-heavy and low in saturated fats. Their main dishes of choice include vegetables, grains, fish, and meat. - Just like the rest of the world, a lot of Japanese people have a hectic schedule that doesn’t leave a lot of time or opportunity to prepare a home-cooked meal. In that case, they can turn to their version of fast food, which is usually a lot healthier and resembles home-style cooking. - Most Japanese people have very regulated meal times. They eat 3 filling meals a day, with breakfast usually happening between 8 and 9am, lunch from 12 to 1pm, and dinner between 6 and 8pm. - It’s a lot more common for Japanese children to walk or cycle to school. Of course, other countries have a lot of reasons why it might not be efficient or safe for kids to hoof it to class. - Portion sizes have been on a steep rise in the last 20 years throughout the world. For example, countries like Australia, Canada, Germany, the U.S., and the U.K. have much larger fast food portions than Japan. - Separate bicycle lanes and plenty of safe areas for pedestrians are common sites in Japan. This allows the Japanese to naturally burn calories as they commute to and from work or school every day. - Tea, especially the green variety, is the number one beverage in Japan. Green tea has been praised for having a ton of major health benefits, like increasing metabolism, burning fat, fighting anxiety, and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, to name a few. - The practice of using chopsticks also helps in weight management, since they make you eat more slowly and in smaller bites. This slow process of eating helps people catch when they’re feeling full and avoid eating too much. The fact that food is served on a bunch of plates also slows down the process. - The number one way that the Japanese stay thin has to do with removing distractions and being mindful about the process of food consumption. Eating in Japan is treated with respect. In fact, the largest known animal in this planet’s history is the blue whale. - According to scientists from the University of Berkeley, birds aren’t just distant relatives of dinosaurs but are dinosaurs themselves! - As more fossils were discovered over time, paleontologists later concluded that most dinosaurs, including the T-Rex and its kin, had feathers attached to their bones. - The not-yet-hatched chicks grew with lower limbs resembling those of ancient lizards. Apart from purely scientific theory, this experiment showed that birds could indeed one day be turned into real dinos. - The smallest known dinosaur to this day is called Compsognathus, and it was just about the size of a chicken. - Carnivorous dinosaurs, or meat eaters, had a much larger brain. So, all those images showing this predator with a brain the size of a walnut are simply not accurate. - A 2018 study published in the journal Nature Communications showed that fossilized dino dandruff could be proof that the ancient lizards also shed their skins! - Paleontologists from the University of Bristol suggested that some Pterosaurs might’ve had several types of body covering at the same time. They had feathers on their head and wings, while their whole body was covered in soft fuzzy fur. Man Sees Drowning Deer and Jumps into Freezing Cold Water in Just His Boxers

04:16
You can now join Hulu starting at $5.99/ month! Click the link below to sign up! http://bit.ly/HuluVideo ---------------------------------------------------------- Deer are beautiful creatures, yet somehow, regardless of their beauty, they are always threatened. Hunters go out every winter trying to kill as many deer as possible. This often leaves mothers without their babies and babies without their mothers. Deer often cross the street, which puts them at risk of being hit by cars. The deer in this story was just a baby, and she needed help immediately. Fortunately, she had an unexpected hero. Marc Headson is a painter and a decorator from Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. He was out driving with his friend, Jamie Toyne, one day, going to pick up his daughter. On a typical day, Marc wouldn't be on their stretch of highway. Instead, he would be at work. Because it was cold that day and it was raining heavy, Marc didn't have to work. He decided to get some food with Jamie and then offered to pick up his daughter. Everything was going fine until Marc saw something in the water. Marc was driving on the highway by a canal. Driving by, he saw something in the water. At first, he thought that it was a fish. He often fished in the canal, so he stopped to get a closer look at the size of the fish that was making such a big splash. When he got closer, he realized that it wasn't a fish. It was actually a baby deer, struggling to stay afloat. Jamie sat as Marc got out of the car and took off his pants. He had no idea what his friend was doing. This man sees drowning deer, seconds after, he jumps into freezing cold canal in his boxers and is a hero. When Marc had his shirt and pants off, he jumped into the stream and pulled out the baby deer. When Jamie realized what his friend was doing, he took out his phone and began recording the rescue. Marc was waist deep in the freezing water, trying to reach the baby deer. She was panicking, so Marc tried to soothe her by talking quietly so that he could get her out of the water. When Marc got the baby deer up on land, he grabbed his jacket and his pants. He wasn't getting his clothes to put them on due to the cold weather; he was getting them to wrap the deer up to keep her warm. Her body was wet and cold, and Marc didn't know how long she had been out in the water. He wrapped her tightly in his arms and held her for a few minutes. When she got too heavy, he put her down on the ground, still wrapped in his clothing. The whole time, Marc was soaking wet, freezing, and standing in just his boxers. Marc and Jamie knew that the deer needed more help than they could give, so they were going to call an animal rescue group. First, they needed to get her out of the cold. Fortunately, they had a friend who lived nearby. They decided to bring her there so that she could be warm. They also gave her something to eat and drink while they waited for someone to come for her. While Marc and Jamie waited at their friend's house for the deer to be picked up by the rescuers, Jamie decided to post the video of the rescue on Facebook. He says that it isn't every day that someone does what Marc did to save an animal. It is also rare that someone is standing nearby to capture the whole thing on film. It wasn't long before the video of Marc's selfless rescue went viral. Thousands of people had shared, liked, and commented on the post in just a few days. Most of the people who commented praised Marc for his quick thinking to save the baby deer from drowning. Most people called him a hero. Jamie updated his post a few days later and revealed that the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust did arrive at their friend's house shortly after they saved the baby deer. They were going to take her and nurse her back to help. When she gets a bit older, they plan to release her back into the wild in one of their nature reserves. What Marc and Jamie did for the baby deer that day was amazing. Had they not stopped to help, she likely would have tired or and drowned if she didn't freeze to death first. Marc got out of the car, stripped down to his boxers, and jumped in the freezing cold stream to save the life of the deer. He was a true hero that day. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to Facts Verse: http://bit.ly/FactsVerse ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/factsverse/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/factsverse/ Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/factsverse6030/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.factsverse.com

A Meganeura’s diet consisted of insects, invertebrates, and small amphibians. -Phoberomys pattersoni (also known as “guinea-zilla”) weighed 1,500 lb and was 4.9 ft tall. It’d be impossible not to scream if you saw a buffalo-like rodent charging at you. -A prehistoric cannibal. Dunkleosteus was not a part of the shark family but was an arthropod or placoderm fish. Its bite was as powerful as that of the Tyrannosaurus rex and modern crocodiles. -Helicoprion was 35 ft long with shark-like features and was twice the size of the largest known great white shark. Its tooth whorl, which consisted of 15 to 18 serrated teeth, worked like a circular saw when eating its prey. -Deinosuchus was related to the alligator and could grow up to 39 ft long. The peak of this “wedding eve” party is the guests breaking porcelain and sometimes ceramic items, such as flower vases, dishes, and the like. - There's a very popular tradition and superstition in Russia to sit in silence for about 5-10 seconds before leaving the house to go on a trip. - As the bell strikes 12 times at midnight, everyone around the table starts eating their 12 grapes, one for each of the chimes and for every month of the upcoming year. - In January 2008, Japan passed the “Metabo Law” to fight obesity and its associated illnesses. According to the law, there's a waist size limit for Japanese citizens aged 40-74. - In Denmark, if you turn 25 there and you're still a single pringle, you get tied to a chair or lamppost while your friends and family cover you in cinnamon from head to toe. - It's no big deal for people in Taiwan to get some pole dancers or strippers to dance for the dead at a funeral. - The small Polynesian island of Niue, an associated sovereign state of New Zealand, has some pretty awesome currency. - Ethiopia. They decided to stick to the Coptic calendar, which has 13 months instead of 12. And 12 months out of those 13 consist of 30 days each. - In 1950 the French government legally clarified the ritual. The process is rather complex. - Every Vietnamese person shares the same birthday as their family, friends, and everyone else in the country! - In western India, babies there are dropped off the roof of a 50-foot-tall shrine to fall on a stretched-out sheet held by a group of men waiting at the bottom. - In Japan, there's a company called “Ikemeso Danshi”, which basically means “Handsome Weeping Boys”. 12 Signs Your Pet is Crying for Help

10:01
Is your cat just tired, or does it have a fever? Has your dog been drinking more water than usual? Can that be a sign of something dangerous? If you notice any of the following warning signs, take your pet to the vet urgently! We love our pets. They are our family. They wake you up in the morning asking you to feed them or take them for a walk. They miss you when you go to work, and they are extremely happy to see you coming back home. We get used to them very much and learn their behaviors quickly. The difference between pets and the rest of the family is that animals can’t complain when they are sick. TIMESTAMPS Change of the gum’s color 1:09 Staring at a wall 1:37 Breathing problems 2:10 The coat is altered 2:49 Loss of appetite 3:23 Changes in drinking habits 4:31 Vomiting 5:42 Diarrhea 6:22 Sudden aggression 6:50 Hiding 7:26 Changes in the appearance of the eyes 8:06 Lethargy 8:46 SUMMARY - Both cats and dogs normally have pink gums. Change of the color may indicate high fever, infection, lack of oxygen, loss of blood and even liver problems. - If insects are not the case, call the animal by its name. If it doesn’t look at you or respond in any way, it may be an alarming sign. Reasons vary from tumors, stroke and head injuries to convulsions and cognitive dysfunction syndrome. - If you notice your pet breathing rapidly with its mouth open (especially cats), you should take it to the vet immediately! The poor pet may have heart problems or liquid in the chest. - When a cat is sick, it doesn’t have the strength to lick itself. So, the fur may lose its fancy shine. If your cat or dog sheds too much fur (so it becomes visible), it may be a sign of skin diseases, lack of vitamins, allergies. - Your cat’s normal behavior (not that we think it’s good manners) is to jump on the table when you are cooking and try to steal a piece of cheese or something else. Dogs usually make sorrowful eyes when you are having dinner, so it’s hard to resist giving them a chunk of meat. - Don’t worry if your cat doesn’t drink much if it eats wet cat food. It’s ok for them not to drink any water at all because they get enough of it from food. If your cat eats dry food and drinks very little or no water at all, check your house or apartment for water leakage. - Dogs aren’t as inventive, so if you notice that your dog doesn’t drink enough, go straight to the vet, too. Normally dogs drink a lot, no matter if they eat wet or dry kind of food. - If your pet has occasional vomiting, it’s probably nothing serious. Dogs often eat trash when walking (so watch out for that!), cats eat their own hairs when cleaning and vomit hairballs from time to time. - Any changes in frequency or consistency of stool are alarming. Yes, that’s gross, but come on! That’s your pet after all! - If you have been loving and kind to your pet, then the reason for such an unfair response may be the pain. Dental issues, arthritis, injuries, infections — these are just a few conditions that may alter a pet’s mood and cause it pain. - If your pet usually looks for your company and attention and then suddenly starts to hide under the bed or other places, where you can’t get to it, it may be a bad sign. - Red eyes, excessive secretion are symptoms viruses and bacterial infection. For example, clear secretion from cat’s eyes means the cat has a virus. If the liquid is green or yellow, we’re dealing with an infection. - Your cat or dog isn’t showing interest in playing with toys? Perhaps, it got tired of them or you. Give it some time to rest. Maybe your friend needs some alone time. However, if it doesn’t go back to normal in 24-48 hours, it might mean that your pet has a fever or even much more severe problems like dehydration (check its water bowl) or even a heart disease. This species lived during the Callovian stage of the Middle Jurassic Period. The typical size of a Liopleurodon varied from 16 to 23 ft, but the largest reached over 33 ft. - Arthropleura lived in the territories of current northeastern North America and Scotland about 315 million years ago. The species ranged from almost one to 7 ft in length and were around 2 ft in width. Arthropleura's body was apparently composed of around 30 jointed segments covered by 2 side plates and one center plate. - Megalania is the biggest monitor lizard you can possibly imagine. The youngest of its fossils dates back to approximately 50,000 years ago. The length of the largest Megalanias reached around 23 ft with a maximum weight of 1,320–1,370 lb. They were unbelievably active hunters. - Dunkleosteus became extinct about 358–382 million years ago during the Late Devonian period. However, there wasn't just one Dunkleosteus — there were actually 10 species of it, including D. terrelli, D. denisonii, and D. magnificus. D. terrelli, the largest of them, was almost 20 ft long. Most Dunkleosteus fossils were found in North America, Poland, Belgium, and Morocco. - Jaekelopterus was a giant predatory sea scorpion Scientists confirmed that Jaekelopterus reached a size of nearly 8.5 ft, which makes it the largest arthropod ever. - Sarcosuchus, a distant relative of living crocodiles, lived about 112 million years ago. It had somewhat telescoped eyes and a long snout with 35 teeth on each side of its upper jaw and 31 teeth on each side of its lower one. - Gorgonopses lived around 260 million years ago, terrifying all the smaller species of that time. As for their size, these creatures were about 10 ft long and weighed nearly 1,000 lb. They were basically at the top of the food chain. - Titanoboa lived in the region that's now a part of northeastern Colombia, and its fossils date back to about 58–60 million years ago. Titanoboa holds the scary record for the largest snake ever discovered with a total length of nearly 48 ft and a weight of about 2,500 lb. - Meganeuropsis still continue to be the biggest insect of all time with a wing length of 13” and a body length of almost 17”. The very first fossils of Meganeuropsis were actually discovered in France back in 1880. - Helicoprion lived was around 290 million years ago, living in North America, Eastern Europe, Asia, and Australia's waters. The most distinctive feature of Helicoprion was its circular jaw. Helicoprions proved to be incredibly strong since they survived the Permian-Triassic Extinction Event that killed 90% of marine animals and around 70% of terrestrial ones. It lived from the mid-Miocene period to the Early Pliocene period and grew up to 15 ft. Fossil records have revealed that Cetotherium would be Megalodon’s top target. - Zygophyseter lived in the late Miocene period, some 11 to 7 million years ago, and it cruised the Mediterranean region. From fossil records, paleontologists have gathered that Zygophyseter grew to be 20 ft long. It had an asymmetrical cranium, which is commonly associated with high-frequency sound production and echolocation. - Aulophyseter was a predatory whale, very similar to modern-day sperm whales. Sperm whales are the largest predators and the largest toothed whales today. Aulophyseter lived in the Miocene period. - Brygmophyseter was a highly predatory sperm whale. The only known fossil is a nearly complete skeleton that is dated at 14 to 15 million years old. From it, paleontologists gathered that Brygmophyseter was 23 ft long. Theories suggest that it swam in pods as other whales do. - Rhamphosuchus is one of the largest known crocodiles ever to roam Earth. The world wouldn’t even be aware of the existence of Rhamphosuchus if it wasn’t for the discovery of incomplete sets of fossils that are mostly teeth and skulls. Rhamphosuchus is estimated to have been 26 to 36 ft long. - Livyatan and Megalodon were 2 of the most terrifying creatures to roam the oceans, and both lived during the Miocene period. Livyatan was a whale that was 60 ft long and weighed up to 50 tons. Its largest teeth were up to 14” long. #megalodon #livyatan #biggestsharks Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/
